How diverse a range of cars have you owned in your lifetime? In 17 years of driving I think I’ve done fairly well at not being too much of a fanboy (apart from my 3 VWs in 4 years).

British: Vauxhall (Astra), Rover, MG
French: Peugeot 205
Italian: Fiat (x2)
German: BMW, VW, Mercedes
Japanese: Mazda, Subaru
American: Jeep, Chrysler

I have yet to own anything Swedish but like Saabs and Volvos, Korean: could see myself owning a cheap Kia as a cheap runabout one day (not so keen on Hyundai, although some of the North American models such as the RWD Genesis Coupe seem quite appealing), Malaysian: Proton (no thanks), China (no thank you), Romanian (maybe a new-style Dacia Duster) and Spanish (SEAT) and Czech (Skoda), wouldn’t rule it out but feel like I’ve been there already with VW.

What countries have you owned cars from and what countries are missing from your list?
