I though I would start this thread after reading the Jag XK thread where a couple of people have suggested the facelifts have improved the look of the origional car.

So what facelifts do you think have improved the looks of a cars design? Pics will be good to to compare!

Perhaps a little off the wall, but i actually think, given the budget constraints, Rover did bloody well with the 75 facelift. Still handsome to this day in my eyes!

Interesting one that, I much prefer the origional

And I know some people disagree with this, and the prefacelift is still a very nice car, but...

I think the headlights look much better than the earlier "Fairy light" DRLs
Agree... but isn't one a 7, and one a 5?
They are both 5's, although one is a coupe and one is a sportback. Both have the same from though

That's a new model. They didn't facelift the b6, or the b7, the b8 ( the first with led running lights ) has been facelifted so it becomes the b8.5
Despite the new model code, the b7 is essentially a revised b6, albeit quite extensively - note that the side profile and interior remain largely unchanged.
yep I'd definitely class that as a facelift, albeit a substantial one!
