Selling car privately at a 3rd party location ?

Basically saving for a deposit on a mortgage atm and will be selling my car (Hot hatch worth 7k euros or so) and don't want every tom dick and harry coming around to my folks place (dad has a new car/other stuff there i don't want potential thieves seeing).

Do you guys always meet the unknown buyer party in a third party location (public place obviously) when the come to look at the car first ?

If it was my own house i wouldn't mind but its not and i live in the sticks.

Well im more thinking on initial viewing meet at a 3rd party location. Have no problem sealing the deal so to speak from the parents gaff but only once i gather they are serious if you get me ?
