Turbocharged Zenos E10 detailed
New 'S' model announced with another 50hp and the Track Pack option too
Power is up to 250hp from 200hp making it the 'natural choice for discerning road and track driving enthusiasts' according to Zenos. Notably that's now with a turbocharged Ford Ecoboost engine as opposed to the naturally aspirated unit in the standard E10.
Top speed for the E10 S is around 135mph and 0-60mph will take less than five seconds. So similar performance and power to the Lotus Elise S that it will hope to pinch a few customers from.
The Zenos will be cheaper than the Lotus though, with a starting price of £29,995 compared to £35,600 for the supercharged Elise. A £3,000 Track Pack adds a six-speed gearbox, limited-slip diff, composite seats with four-point harnesses, quick release wheel and adjustable platform dampers. Sounds like money well spent.
Production of the new Zenos model will start early next year with deliveries due to begin soon after. Another two models separate from the E10 are due in the next five years so there should be plenty more to report from Zenos soon. And a hopefully a drive as well.
