Hey, so I'm looking for a new car. Since driving my boyfriends clio 182 last year I've wanted something similar. He got rid now but I still want something small and fun to drive.
What I won't budge on:
Under 8 seconds 0-60
Fairly small
Fun to drive
Hatchback

What I'd ideally like but not 100% required:
Higher build quality than the clio
Something a bit nicer looking than the clio and a nicer place to sit

All for under £4000.
My boyfriend suggested a twingo 133 but said it wouldn't be as fast as I'm wanting.
What else is there?
Thank you biggrin

You appear to have forgotten to fill in the "fun to drive" section on autotrader, but thanks all the same! :P

Swift Sport? Ignis Sport? Yaris T Sport?

IMO none of them are as good looking and definitely not as quick as a Clio 182.

What about a Clio 197? I think they look much better than the 172/182's and a very similar drive. Driving position isn't great but they're alot of car and power for the money these days.

They are proper hot hatch whereas the rest are just warm hatches. If you think Twingo 133's aren't fast enough then nothing else will do and will just be a disappointment.
They can be had that cheap?

Fiesta ST150?

Seems to fulfil all of that. I used to have one and with a couple of simple mods (S-Max throttle body etc.) you can make a decent amount of power.
I'll take a look thanks
