Thinking of either a 981 Cayman or F Type S/R for the next car.

Leaning towards the F Type.

Which would you have and why?

For me, weight and size. Gross weight 1655kgs vs 2 tons! and 4379 mm vs 4469 mm. Cayman feels way shorter and more practical.

But I run a 997 Turbo which is IIRC lighter and shorter than both, with usable seats in the back...
Thanks for the link pretty useful!

Assuming you are leaning towards a S or Gts Cayman (based on you looking at an S or R F-type) I would be going for the Gts Cayman.

Superior drivers car and in my opinion the best looking out of the two.
Was looking at the S Cayman vs F Type S - but also F Type R Vs GTS would be a fair comparison! Hadn't considered the GTS actually - if i could stretch to a GT4 it would be no contention smile
