For me, weight and size. Gross weight 1655kgs vs 2 tons! and 4379 mm vs 4469 mm. Cayman feels way shorter and more practical.
But I run a 997 Turbo which is IIRC lighter and shorter than both, with usable seats in the back...

Was looking at the S Cayman vs F Type S - but also F Type R Vs GTS would be a fair comparison! Hadn't considered the GTS actually - if i could stretch to a GT4 it would be no contention Superior drivers car and in my opinion the best looking out of the two.
