Subaru 2.5 H4 & 3.0 H6 engines?
Discussion
Economy isn't the biggest of concerns really. I don't expect either to be great, but am curious on quite how bad they are? 15-20mpg? 25? Higher?
Seems to be a fair few mentions of the H6 having headgasket problems too? Is this issue limited to just the H6 from a certain era, or all of them? Is the H4 bad for HG failures too?

Hopefully he will see this thread then. Found another thread which mentioned sub 20mpg for the 3.0? That would be a bit too low! On the plus side, it appears to only be early H6 engines which have HG issues.
A 2.5 WRX wagon appeals the most but I think it will need to be the legacy for space reasons.
