Another quality rant

You're spot on Ted, and one has to retain a sense of humour about it or it starts to get bloody depressing...

Agreed - top quality rant.

Ever noticed how Beemer and Merc drivers seem to be in the greatest hurry - or is that just me?

Last Christmas having spent 3 weeks on a island in the South Pacific only 4 acres big at high tide in the company of a handful of people and no cars, I can honestly say my first experience of driving back home was terrifying, I shat myself at the agressive way other drivers "attacked" me, however after a few days I had forgotten the idea of "fiji time" and drove like a bastard again, just like every other bastard.

Beemer and Merc drivers aren't necessarily in the biggest hurry - it's just that they're the most arrogant and inconsiderate bastards on the road so they like to make it look that way.

There is a very fine line between Genius and Insanity.

Ted, the solution of course is to pack your server etc. in a van and emigrate to Scotland. Beautiful scenery, quiet roads, proper beer, friendly people......... but don't tell everybody or it'll become like London relocated !
