Ascari reveals all-new A10
220mph supercar to debut next summer
Ascari, has just revealed that it has a second car in development to follow up the KZ1. The 600bhp A10 will be a road going version of Ascari’s Spanish GT Race Car, and is currently undergoing rigorous testing in advance of its release next summer.
Ascari described the car as "the next generation Ascari dream drive". It'll be a 220mph, limited edition supercar weighing 1,280Kg only 50 will be hand-built at Ascari's Banbury facility.
Power will come from a 600bhp 5-litre V8 engine, with a six speed manual as standard and a sequential gearbox available as an option. It'll sport a six-piece carbon fibre body, fixed rear wing and a headlight configuration described as "distinctive".
Ascari's Chris Burton said: “We are extremely excited by the prospect of launching the A10. This car’s roots are in the racetrack making it a truly inspiring driving machine, yet refined enough by design to be driven every day as a supercar.”
The price tag will be around £350,000.
I don't have it in my pocket, but I think Ascari will sell al 50 of them!
The man Klaas? is origenal a Dutchman I believe and he does a fine job, he even got his own racing cirquit! also to use for clients and buyers!
So he is taken care of customers I think, he even provide's them a change to find the limits of the car...well done, I wish them luck, and myself a go in such car someday

£350K? I'll take a couple then.
For that money you can buy 5!! Ultima GTR also with that horsepower![]()
So I still take the Ultima GTR and save a lot for petrol and trackdays and a house with a garage![]()
But I think the Ascari is Oké![]()

Or you could even more other old dated kit cars.
So where's the new technology in this one then?
I think in value for money terms, it is impossible to comment unless you've driven a number of these different supercars and you are able to distinguish the characteristics yourself. Surely it's a bit like fine wine, you have to have tasted a lot before you can move on to the more expensive vintages?
