In case you have forgotten, it's the Goodwood Revival this weekend so what better subject for the Picture of the Week? Among the many highlights this year will be the sight of the most expensive historic racing grid ever, fighting tooth and nail around the track.

The cars competing in the one-hour, two-driver Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration race include a Jaguar E-type Lightweight, Ferrari 250 GT SWB, Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato and two original Shelby Cobra Daytonas. In total, the cars taking part have been independently valued by automotive auction experts at Bonhams at a staggering £85million.

The leading Ferrari is probably worth as much as the first three rows put together!

Wouldn't mind if someone gave me any one of them though!

Awesome sight.

Great pic and the racing was even better.

As for £85 million?

That's gone up from 'just' £33 Million two to three years ago.

Given the classics market has not been going mad, let alone appreciating with solid reliable gains this seems just a 'tad' OTT...

Hardman and the 330 finally won it after 10yrs of trying. Won it effectively in the pits of all places as they were 10-20secs quicker than everybody else on the changeover. Brundle managed to lose 30 secs somehow!

What an awesome weekend. Drove down from Edinburgh in my Dads 1963 Jag Mk2. Racing was awesome although was gutting to see the silver cobra lose it on the first corner right in front of me.
