Pic Of The Week: Racing Lancer

Dakar here we come...

Earlier this week we ran the story that Mitsubishi has developed a turbodiesel cross country rally car, in the form of its new Racing Lancer D-iD. What we didn't realise at the time however was that it looks like Darth Vader's personal chariot.

It looks absolutely unstoppable and should make an awesome sight as it storms across the South American mountains and deserts, but I can't help but think it would be perfect for clearing the outside lane of the M25 on the way home from the office. Anyone fancy lending me one?

For more details on the car, check out the story, or just click below to get your new wallpaper.

Nemesis, well what can you say about a vehicle thats not as good as the old Wildcat, if a major player got hold of it maybe it could compeat with the big boys.

From what I have seen so far I would rather be in a good old reliable Defender.

Come on, you can't put up a provocative post like that without explaining why?

What results has this thing had to date ?

I was out in Hungray in April and there was a Nemesis entered, yes sounds nice but thats about as far as it goes, there where standard Nissan's and Toyota's going quicker, O.K.I hear you say, who was driving it ? sorry can't remember.

I think Drew should have spent more time with the Wildcat rather than try to compete with multi million pound manufactures, for this to sucseed I think he needs a massive backer to finance the project.

Don't get me wrong I respect what Drew is trying to do and after all it is BRITISH.
