Top Gear Enter 24 Hour Race

Apparently, the boys from Top Gear (including the Stig) have been entered into the 24 hour race at Silverstone from 7^th-9^th September.

They’ve been entered in a BMW 330 Dti Sport and we assume that some kind of hi-jinks (that the Mail will later reveal as staged) will go on.

Still, it’ll be fun to watch.

I reckon May and Clarkson will end up having a barney over driving technique, which will ultimately cost them the race.

I bet all of them will drive around moaning about BMWs, which might be quite funny.

What's the betting Clarkson gets bored, goes away, and gets too drunk to drive?

Doesn't seem like Clarkson is driving, I think he will likely be the team boss so he can get angry and boss people around like Ron Dennis. They'll probably get the May or Hammond to have a faux Alonso/Hamilton rivalry with the Stig or something like that I bet.

Interesting. I always liked to think that seceretly captain slow could actually drive!

Clarkson is a lot faster and a better driver than he would have you believe. Shame to shatter the preconceived idea that he is a buffoon and clueless behind the wheel.
