Finance, with a chunky deposit to make the monthly payments bearable.

Save up.

But then I didn't spend much so I'm not sure it's 'worthy'.

All together now..."We are not worthy, we are not worthy"

Got a loan originally, made a fair wedge on my last flat so managed to pay that off in one go.

6 years since leaving uni and I am now completely out of debt! (apart from the mortgage, but that doesn't count )
It's very difficult not to wander into a showroom and sign on the dotted line for a T350, but I promised myself I wouldn't do the debt thing again...

You can get great deals on loans on line

Eg. Tesco.co.uk= 6.4% typical

That will be matched by many other finance houses.

That is near my mortgage rate

I don't finance, I put money aside and let it work for itself now. Then I get a great feeling walking in to buy a car knowing it will be all mine from the moment I leave, which no one can take away from me. Plus I alway like to think the dealer isn't going to make any money out of any financing. (Sorry to the dealers on here btw, actually no I'm not )

Just my way I guess, everyone to their own.

We saved up for our Griffith. Don't like doing loans other than the mortgage. Saved up for the new kitchen too.

My mum works for a high street bank and so was able to get a loan in her name at staff rates (read v.low) for my car! I just pay her back with the added agreement that I have life insurance so that it is paid off if I slip off this mortal coil!

Save up.

Loans are for houses.
