...as in they take a current car, an then add their major bodywork to it, till it looks more like an official bodystyle variant, than an amateur job done in someones garden shed, by a blue peter tv presenter with one arm...:D

firstly tho, my pal gave me his top 10 list -
1. Lynx
2. Fensport
3. Andy Saunders
4. Paramount Performance
5. Frontline Costello
6. Overfinch
7. the official Jag customizer?
8>10. he cant recall any more to make 10 !

ps- are S-Works really Cooper, an do 'Tuner BBR' only do mbikes?

I would agree with Gavin.

Now thinking about it, I believe alot of people are going to think that Carisma are the best customizers, as I believe they have been chosen for MTV's Pimp my Ride UK.

i thought the former was owned by VAG an only do interiors, whereas the later was owned by bmw, who have yet to announce a model with its name.

I've some additions lately...

Radford, who did 'mini' coachwork etc in the 60's, have released a reworked version of the current mini - an its costs £30,000 !
+
LCC / london-coach-craft, [who were formed from when Hooper-Alpe became a dearlership only], but who dont do the usuall exteriors + some fancy trim, but only do very fancy interiors with wood only materials etc for encasing tv sets, hi-fi an mini-fridges for cooling rich folks champers etc.

...an its funny how former 'car only' bodymakers have refocused to survive, ie...

Panther became a car armourer + strecth-limo maker.

Woodhall-Nicolson do the above + hearses an police vans, incl their dog unit vans !

UVG make ambulance bodywork on top of various van bases.

ps- theres also 2 mini-bus makers, tho i wonder if they just buy a plain van from whoever, then cut-out holes from its rear panneling an slip-in windows, then screw in half-a-dozen seats from recaro ?
an bobs ya uncle - a windowed van with several seats!
