Arrested for Doing 210mph - In a Video
Enzo driver is busted for recording his speed run on camera

Supercars plus long straight road equals...
An exotic sports car dealer from Canada has been arrested after police watched a video that showed him driving three times over the legal limit – including one shot of his Ferrari Enzo displaying 339kph (210mph).
Zahir Rana, the owner of ZR Auto, is featured in the video on YouTube titled ZR Speed Run Challenge, doing high speed runs with his friends.
A Lamborghini Gallardo, a Ferrari 360 and F430 are

..major hooning and...
all featured with shots of the cars’ speedometers at over 300kph (186mph). Three of Rana’s friends who participated in the video have also been arrested.
In the seven-minute video Rana says: “When I was doing the run… I just wanted to go faster and faster. And I know I could have done 350, but I ran out of road."
Rana claims the video was faked and says the

...and big speed.
video is part of viral marketing and isn’t factual.

Duno how Canada's legal system works, but over here the rather obvious defence is proof beyond reasonable doubt.
All the police have is a video posted on the net with no means of validating the content as actual speeds achieved.

I love the commentary detailing all drivers names, with all number plates shown and a snap of the speedo.
How do thick people get so much money? Must be inheritance.

What is it with people constantly doing this. There have been others in the past - (Youtube video of `Tunnel Racers` on local London news and the Sun article of the chap who posted pictures and times of his acheevments are just two that spring to mind instantly) - that have also been arrested because of `publicly displaying` their acheevments...will these people never ever learn

The digial display allows you to choose between imperial and metric settings on speed, temperature, "mileage" etc, but they don't provide a Letraset for changing the analogue dial.

Impressive stuff, I can barely get a camcorder in focus when I'm standing still never mind at 210mph...

I can't believe people still film themselves doing stuff like this. You know that it will eventually end up on YouTube or some other site. Also, the police are only going to go after people that are worth going after and have the funds to pay the fines. For all of the Honda Civic videos out there breaking the law you don't see people going after them.

Is it me reading it wrong, or does the external temperature gauge appear to say 31 deg F??? So basically it's freezing?! I know Canada can be cold, but they don't look dressed for winter....
Seems odd.
