PH Rolling Road Day

This is how we roll...

PistonHeads is having a rolling road day in December to provide you with all the pub bragging rights you will ever need. The day is hosted by Surrey Rolling Road, run by PH’s very own Vixpy1.

The event takes place on December 13 and there are just 25 places, at £40 inc VAT per car. There will be plenty of teabags in stock and a prize for the highest and lowest bhp of the day.

Each car will be run on the rollers and receive print outs of bhp/torque at the flywheel and also at the wheels, as well as an AFR plot of the cars fuelling, which is useful in telling if an engine is running correctly. In addition, Boost graphs will be provided for cars which are forced induction.

The PH team should be on hand with a car or two from the fleet, so you can have a go at beating us too.

To book a place email charlie@surreyrollingroad.co.uk

Address is :

Unit 120, Qinetiq Chobham lane,

Tempted to bring the Stag....probably be the lowest of the day but I bet it makes the most noise! Also the fuelling graph would be good to ensure I have the right needles etc...

Had mine RR'd there a month or two ago. Brilliant fun with all those V8s!

Doubt I'll make this but it'll be interesting to see who's got what.

I’m tempted to come down on my scooter surrey rather far from Walsall thoughfrown a shame really as would easily go away with the lowest bhp prize I believe kicking around 6hp at the moment lol.

does anyone know if this is a 4 wheel rolling road as i'll bring the Integrale if it is, few recent mods so would like to know my bhp, although you cannot measure bhp, and its all about torque.

anyway is it for 4wd cars??

Why not do a day at the dragstrip some time? Everyone can play at that and horsepower is useless unless you can transfer it to acceleration.

Well, you can 'measure' BHP through the calculations off of the measured torque vs RPM.

Or do you mean you can't measure flywheel BHP?
