Which speed detector?

I'm willing to bet this has been done to death here, but I couldn't find anything.

I know nothing about speed detectors, except you need a GPS based one to detect GATSO.

What's the best speed detector out there? How much is it? What will it detect and what won't it detect?

These are legal now right?

As always, Road Angel. Now comes with the Radar detector as standard. Knows more or less where everything is. Look around, I bought a second unit for her that speeds for £393 inc but cant remeber where from at present. I have all the details in work.

Thanks - I've had a look at Road Angel. Do you know how regularly they update their database?

The database is updated every time someone updates their unit if they have found a new camera or scameravan site. Blackspot update the site everytime a new camera is sited or scamera van site is found buit not added to the site. Bloody brilliant devices. My brother has borrowed mine to go to Wales with. He got warned 5 times on the M4 about camera's but only saw 3.

I got mine from ebay @ £345....with free delivery.
BE WARNED, if you have a TVR (sometimes) the Laser detector is 'incompatible' and will go off every time you rev the engine...I phoned them and had the upgraded one two days later...bingo.
I would definitely recommend the Road Angel.
