AUTOSPORT Show, Sun 11th Jan, Car Sharing from SE?
Discussion
I'm thinking of going to the show at Birmingham NEC on the Sunday morning (January 11th) and was wondering whether anyone would be interested in sharing the petrol costs up there?
I would happily drive (I've got a new MINI now, not the Tiv in my profile!) and could take 2 or 3 more adults. I live near St Albans, in Herts, so would be leaving at around 7am from here. Would happily pick up from stations or areas either near here or along the way. And don't worry about feeling compelled to spend the day in the presence of a complete stranger - I'll probably wander off on my own when i get there anyway!
Anyone interested?

Any PH'ers coming to Autosport should come along to Autocar's "Supercar Paddock" in Hall 6. We'll have some good stuff on the stand including:
Vanquish, Noble, Invicta, GT3, Gallardo (Chris Harris's car) and a Pagani Zonda Roadster.
You'll also have the dubious pleasure of being able to say hello to yours truly. If the prospect of saying hello to a bald, overweight magazine publisher doesn't thrill, I daresay we'll have some attractive women attempting to sell you a magazine subscription instead...
The best bit about the show for me will be driving back in the Noble which is to become an Autocar long termer for the next few months. Well, someone had to do it....

You didn't look that chumpy when I met you at Bedford!
What if I've already got a subscription to Autocar, and for that matter Autosport, Classic Car, F1 Magazine...

See you on the Saturday!
Stuart,m, that list soudns exciting. If I go (also tempted on that date) I might pay you a visit.
Incidentally, great issue this week. But the quiz: what's number 7???
great read, as usual!

P.S. I live near the M20. You often to runs from Europe back to the Uk (the recent Gallardo (sp??) article springs immediatly to mind. Any chance of advance warning, so I could watch from a motorway bridge???
Best wishes,
Will
