Pic Of The Week: A Range Of Range Rovers

Help celebrate the Rangie's 40th birthday with an interactive POTW

POTW option 1
POTW option 1
When we mentioned to Garlick that it was Range Rover's 40th birthday this month, he got all excited and suggested that we use a pic of his old, dear-departed Rangie as POTW.

Fortunately we managed to placate him with lots of retro pics of Range Rovers instead.

In fact, we managed to get hold of so many courtesy of the kind folks at the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust that we couldn't pick our favourite, and Garlick had to go for a lie-down in a dark room.

So here are five of our favourites. Tell us via the magic of the forum thread of the forum thread which is your favourite and we'll desktop-ise it

Lines close at 12.45pm today (Friday) (well they would if we had some to close) and any votes cast after then will not count, though you may still be charged (as they say on TV - except that we won't charge you. Because it doesn't cost anything to post on PH...)

We'll pop the winner up by 1pm today (Friday 4 June).

POTW option 2
POTW option 2
POTW option 3
POTW option 3
POTW option 4
POTW option 4
POTW option 5
POTW option 5

...And the winner is: Option 1

Normal (1280x1024)
WideScreen (1440x900)
SuperSize (2048x1536)

Option 1, 2 or 3? Which one will it be for me? Decissions, decisions...
Leaning towards the latter two.

Edit - went for Option 3 in the end. Cracker of a photo that is biggrin

Option one please. The 3 door is the classic shape and the rangie looks like its hewn from the same rock as the mountains in the background.

I still dearly want one of those original Range Rovers.

Any of them are brilliant, can't decide!

Option 1, but I prefered that picture (of the Range Rover chassis no.3) in B&W....I know, not the answer you were looking for

Option 1 in the colour of Option 5 would be our last Rangie. Ah OCV 464M where are you now?

Option 1 please because it has the original wing mirrors.
