Seems Ashgood Porsche are the only ones selling used Porsche GT stock, I guess thats due to them realising listing cars for crazy money like other independents do doesn’t pay the bills anymore.
Wrong. JZM selling too. Just shifted the white & red 997.2 GT3 RS.IMO Jzm stock always looks expensive compared to others, a lot of the time they are more expensive than OPC.

I think it was reduced once from, what was it £156k to £150k?
It was dropped more than that..Initially it was up for over £170K and recently reduced to under £150K when it sold..I also noticed on social media they have all now reduced the spyder they have, they are saying it’s now the cheapest one available. No idea what it was before it dropped in price mind.

I remember it being £169,995 for some time, so on the sticker price they have taken 20k off and that’s before they negotiated a deal below 150k. That says to me the car was hugely over priced to begin with.

Nice car the Spyder but no leather which is a shame.I also noticed on social media they have all now reduced the spyder they have, they are saying it’s now the cheapest one available. No idea what it was before it dropped in price mind.
But still good value.

JZM's RS was reduced to £146,995 I believe. Maybe dealt at £145k? Lovely car either way, hope the new owner enjoys it fully!
Did it sell? I got the impression that was returned to the owner thelostboy said:
You guys are a bad influence.
I have placed a deposit on the Ashgoods 997.2 GT3 Clubsport. It was too good a price to resist, and I've been watching for literally years.
I think an original sale fell through, as it was de-listed and then came up as POA, but it was for sale at the same price.
Did you go to see it before purchasing? I have been unimpressed with Ashgood's car prep in the past.I have placed a deposit on the Ashgoods 997.2 GT3 Clubsport. It was too good a price to resist, and I've been watching for literally years.

It's getting inspected on Tuesday. It has a full OPC SH, PPF on the front and pretty new tyres. The only downside is 8 owners.Bert
The thing that lets Ashgood down - in my opinion - is woefully low quality photos. I mean, I'd always inspect the car anyway, but the video I received didn't really show me much.
Overall though, I asked around and they seem to have a very good reputation.

For a GT car, well over 10 years old, this is not atypical. Digging through histories, cars are often bought and sold for a summer. They are also often bought by enthusiasts keen to sample a wide variety of cars, but without the cash or garage space to have multiple cars. It's not a reflection of the car itself or your specific example.WindyM said:
True. I am the 7th keeper of my 997.1 GT3 CS. It had 26k miles on the clock when I bought it 2 years ago.
If you go back to reviews in the day, there was real hype with the 997.1 GT3. People who perhaps never looked at a 911 seriously before would have been interested. So there would have been a lot of people who simply wanted to try one. Some would not have got on with the car, but even for those who did, there were compelling reasons to sell:
The 997.1 RS came along, so anyone with deep enough pockets would logically want to switch to that. Not too long after, you then have the 997.2 3.8 cars following on and, again, there are logical reasons why people - who genuinely liked the 997.1 GT3 - might want to switch.

2010? Think I bought my first GT3 about 10 years ago. Full comfort spec, fitted an @akrapovic exhaust and @exe-Tc suspension. These gen.1 3.6 Mezgers get totally forgotten about in the long list of RS 3.8s and 4.0s, but the engine was so sweet and it always seemed smoother at high revs than the later, faster cars. Being non-club sport and the world being more normal back then, I couldn’t shift it on for love-nor-money and took a massive hit on it.

From memory he only had it a relatively short time - you always (used to, pre-flipping days) take a massive hit if trading in a car on finance within a short period. I don’t think he had it much more than a year if that? He probably would’ve taken a similar hit even if the car was a Clubsport, back then I don’t remember having the “it HAS TO BE a Clubsport” conversations, there wasn’t as much snootiness around spec. Or was there ... could be totally wrong Link: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_zdU0Cnzhz/
