if so I can remember when you bought it and that trip we did to the ring with my missus and flew into Hahn airport. promptly scared the crap out of her with some laps of the nordschleife ;-)
No you have the wrong person if so I can remember when you bought it and that trip we did to the ring with my missus and flew into Hahn airport. promptly scared the crap out of her with some laps of the nordschleife ;-)
I should add my long term ownership too. Coming up on 10 years now for me -- 19k when I bought it, 52k now. Again aside from CG / Bilstein suspension rebuild a few years ago when it seemed to be requiring me to be ever more busy behind the wheel, routine stuff only at Cambridge OPC every April.
It still amazes me when the holy grail of decent fast road and no traffic happens, incredible power and poise. I've flirted with the notion of a 458 a few times and I expect that's where I'll go eventually, but for now I don't really fancy moving it on.
Double edged sword over the appreciation versus using it argument, but it's paid for long ago and I don't own it to look at it in the garage.

Can't be many more than 90 UK cars left can there, I was thinking of buying a low mileage car but I looked at them on here and couldn't see a nice one that looked original with pccb etc.
Mine is running PCCB and compared with iron I used for a while, they definitely make the car more agile in my humble opinion.

I remember you thinking about selling when they were cheap as chips and no-one wanted them. Well done for hanging on to her! BT's yellow GT2 above is simply stunning. Very special cars and much more fun to drive than a 458 in my view although I love the F car.It still amazes me when the holy grail of decent fast road and no traffic happens, incredible power and poise.
