Not many of these on the ring this year buddy. Even the rich people cant afford to track them!
Im pretty sure white is the rarest RHD 997.1 GT3 RS colour?

Excellent advice all round, thanks for the info especially around the percentages involved with SOR. It would appear the margins are less than I was expecting at 5%.
CLR, many thanks for the info and we understand about the advantages of a German registered car however I think a RHD car would be preferred-perhaps one slightly less modified also although I have forwarded on your details to the purchaser-if he is interested he'll be in touch.
Are orange ones really worth any more or is this something that's come on the back of the green gold rush? One has been offered although no firm price has been given.
Tom Hartley sold a black 997.1 GT3 RS for 125k about 3 months ago. It was a nice car too if I recall. People seem to favour the Orange and Green ones but if you saw a black one with orange wheels and accents in the flesh you'd be blown away, they look awsone I think particularly as the wheels stand out more for not being black. I'd love a Viper Green one however but for a saving of perhaps 10-15k, a black one should be considered perhaps?CLR, many thanks for the info and we understand about the advantages of a German registered car however I think a RHD car would be preferred-perhaps one slightly less modified also although I have forwarded on your details to the purchaser-if he is interested he'll be in touch.

Good advice above about not rushing into the market too. I think we'll see a pretty flat year next year for car prices including a further dip in areas.
There are quite a few RS' about at the moment which will help to soften things going forward if supply doesn't dry up. A 997 GT3 gen 1 or 2 might also be a good consideration if you actually want to use it properly and not worry about the investment so much.
oh they look good in white
I use to own RS07LBS (WP0ZZZ.....94076) and regret it each time I'm surrounded/taken over and over by 997GT3RSs (Strad is no match around the track)
if you don't mind LHD, there are quite a few white ones for sale on the continent, but few with ceramics (yellow callipers for ease of recognition)
note: I remember selling mine for 70/75k£ back in 2011

I agree. While last year the rare stuff was not as common, DN16 this year was awash with GT3s, RS' even a CGT. Which was very good to see.
I was at DN16 in my GT3. I dont recall many/any 997 GT3 RS (gen 1 or gen two). Lots of other type of GT Pork so sorry if I wasn't specific. At Grandturismo in June the 991 GT3 RS was the most common car! God knows how many they pumped out.....nigelonich said:
