My old 991.2 GTS is on at Porsche Glasgow, lava orange and decent spec.

Cracking car, if it was not making way for GT3 if would have stayed till 992 GTS

My OPC has a manual Gelb Grun 991.GTS demo which I had for a day and thought was fantastic. I was wondering if it was the same car. Not many manual 991.2 GTS’s around!
Is that the silverstone one still knocking around?
Not to my knowledge, they've sold it twice since it came off demo as far as I know. I nearly bought it last summer but kept my manual 997 GTS.

IIRC you bought your GTS from Cardiff OPC about a year ago..
You are 100% correct, bit surprised with the value of these considering the so called shortage of cars.

I'm in the same boat as well. Just got back from the Porsche dealership. Even if the new 992 S comes with around 450hp there are a few other things on the GTS that makes it special so I think I'll pull the trigger on a 991.2 GTS. I want something a little different than a normal S and I want RWD so this is one of the few options that checks all the boxes for a 911 without spending way too much money true GT after the $20-30k mark up. Sounds like they won't be making 992 GTS' until around 2021 when the 992 lifecycle is at an end.

I might be wrong, but think the GTS is now just one more model iteration on all cars and comes reasonably early in the lifecycle - not a run-out special

I'm not sure, but everything that I have seen/heard/watched says they should be continuing the end of lifecycle trend for the GTS. Being a parts bin car that adds up to more than the sum of it's parts wink

The gts is no longer a run out special as said.

It will be about 1-2 years after the first 992 is released, so half way through the lifecycle.

Even the standard car iterations are staggered, all the standard and S models won’t be available from day 1.
