I'm assuming it's due to them being too old, too 'hardcore' and looks not everyone gets. For them to break the 100k barrier it would need to be like the rs events, ie all of them sold then the sellers just named the price.
As for what yours is worth, see what the average price is for the mileage at a dealers, knock 10k off for private. +2/3k for club sport or -?k if it needs new tyres/suspension/work.
If its modified and not really returnable to oem, it appeals to a niche market within a niche market but there's a bum for every seat at a price
Alfapork, yours sounds very similar to mine except mine has just under 50k miles on it.

I may be putting mine up in February and I’ll probably pitch it at £65k with a view to getting low £60k’s. If I don’t get an offer starting with a six, I’ll just keep it. I may keep it anyway, I just have a lot of itches to scratch and know of a very good F430 Coupe that’s coming up in the spring.

I absolutely love the car mind but after 20 years of 911s including 2x 996 GT3s, I just want to sample some other stuff. I can always come back.

Its strange really. I bought mine at 2 yrs old. Price new started with a 7. Price I paid started with a 5. I’ve seen the prices all over the place. But the reality remains you will not make money trading 996 GT3’s. The depreciation however is low to non-existent so your only risk will be interest & maintenance. I'm assuming it's due to them being too old, too 'hardcore' and looks not everyone gets. Yep, I was fortunate that I got mine near the bottom of the depreciation curve but sold it for more but over the 10 years I owned it, probably broke evenI think the super low mileage one in the classifieds (if it's still there) is around £200k but that's a museum/collectors piece
Having said that, they'll probably rocket up just like my tesla shares did after I sold them

Mine needs some paint to bumper, bonnet and maybe side skirts, due to gravel rash.
I’ll do it if I’m going to sell it but if not I’ll leave it. I’m happy with it being useable and I’ll only fuss over it if I make it spotless.

Rare for sure, but they’re a chunky premium over a “stock” Mk 2, and whilst a few appreciate the Motorsport aesthetics and “improved” driving dynamics, many don’t. Now too expensive to track, and the stock Mk 2 makes more sense as a road car for most. For many a 997 GT3 at the same price point as a 996 RS makes more sense and some would say a better, though less tactile, road car.

Which would tend to indicate that rarity alone isn't a guarantee of increased value. If it were, the ultra rare Mk2 996 GT2 would be trading at £250K +. The C16 Mk1 996 GT3 & GT2 Clubsport are rarer animals than the 996 GT3 RS, yet values aren't anywhere close to those of the RS.

Got mine out and gave it a wash the other day. I have a couple of people interested in it at £60k. I’m not going to advertise it though. If they drop out I’ll keep it. I can’t really be bothered with a new car search but I’ve got some itches I want to scratch.
Using Bilt Hamber Touchless at the moment. Not good for foamy pics but it does seem to lift a lot of dirt.
Going for a service next week and it’s good to go.
