Importance of OPC service history
Discussion
Had a look at a 997.1 GT3 RS for sale at Graypaul Notts. it appears to be a nice car but doesn't have a Porsche service history. Only the first service was by an OPC the rest by a variety of specialists. What do people think, would it put you off and would it have a material impact on value? I'm assuming an OPC warranty would be out of the question?
Thanks for your thoughts guys. I've come to the conclusion that for me, having a non OPC history on a (to me) expensive car from pretty much day one is an issue, or I wouldn't have questioned it in the first place I guess. I'm also struggling to justify the additional £20k+ for the RS over my 'normal' GT3. Ideally I'd like a cage as I want to run harnesses, so I'll keep looking for. Club Sport instead.
