When I got my GT3, I wasn't really fussed either way whether it had buckets or not and wouldn't have paid a premium for one type of seat over another. All I really wanted was steel brakes and comfort spec. I'm curious, how do other people feel?

All depends how you use the car. I do mostly track so clubsport spec a must!
Poll is technically for a comfort spec car - I mostly use mine for hoons and on track so buckets are fine for me with the benefit of hind sight. I wasn't and am still not fussed about the roll cage as it's a bit try hard for my needs. Besides, I could see a time in the future where I was using it as a DD, in which case I'd put seatbelts in the back, put the buckets in storage and buy me some comfy seats smile

If I wanted buckets for a track day I'd just fit some recaros for £1500, job done.
This^^ if I didn't have buckets in my car already. If your primary concern is tracking the car, then you should have no probs with fitting non-standard buckets to the vehicle to improve performance, bum feel etc, same logic as those putting after market suspension on to improve handling. Hell, could even save you money if there's genuinely a decent premium for cars with OEM buckets.

I'm on another thread stating I have some bucket seats, therefore if anyone has a GT3 they'd like to sell for £6-7k less than market value due to it's comfy seats I'm ready & waiting.
+1, I'll be next in line please smile I just had to up the agreed value on my GT3 policy by 5% having only owned it 5 months, so I'll take another even if I have to put up with comfort wink
