Yes, good detective work! Bet you cant guess why the oo's? I know 'we' get a bit of bad press but I'm just an honest hardworking kid trying to sell what is in front of me... I don't decide prices of the metal but if I'm to feed me kids I got to peddle what I can. Surely I can't be called a baddie if someone has expressed interest in a certain product which I couldn't supply but now we have these examples available?
Oh, and I clearly ain't gonna make it in the movie production world - I know...
Nothing wrong with that, hope you sell the cars.Oh, and I clearly ain't gonna make it in the movie production world - I know...

and the JZM one at 93k with one pretty similar spec with 100 miles at the same place is on for 99.9k.... I guess the owners need a quick sale or the market be a waning!
My point was aimed at the JZM cars - 6k difference pretty similar specs - It must be driven by the owners rather than the dealers!bigmowley said:

So what are they asking for Bigmowleys car? 110k?
how come he is selling up, any one know ? thought he loved it as a track carIts a damn good car mind but just a bit too sanitized for me. I really do miss PDK. When it was launched without I very nearly pulled my order. Glad I didn't as I would have missed out on making my own mind up about it. It also "feels" a bit slow to me. Its not slow in absolute terms obviously, before I get shouted at again by all and sundry, but it just doesn't make the hairs come up on the back of my neck like it should. I still have the Race Car Cayman for the track and I have something else in mind to replace the GT4 but the delivery date has just gone back. Grrrr, and yes its got paddles.

"One is that blue GT4 with the horrible decal all over it"
Half an hour with a hair dryer and the decal is a distant memory. Bit rich having a go at us for flipping! How long would you like me to keep it before I bung it on the market, or alternatively should I price it at list just to keep you happy?
White car has more BHP at the wheels than the GT4 has at the flywheel plus its over 200KG lighter

If it all goes according to plan I wont need this one any more!
Hope what you have planned comes off. Excited to see what it is. My guess is still something Cayman shaped. Maybe with paddles. And slicks

That Cayman looks proper.

That still wouldn't feel 'fast' enough though :-) It still has the standard engine so would probably feel slow on the straights !! Hope what you have planned comes off. Excited to see what it is. My guess is still something Cayman shaped. Maybe with paddles. And slicks
Back on track....
Roman's told me today hey have a black GT4 coming in on the 1st March and that, in their opinion there was still a premium, but it had softened significantly. The LO RS in their showroom at £280k which was driven from the OPC to them isn't shifting either.
Looks like the market is either pausing for breath or slowly waking up to reality.

Official OPC buyers confirm otherwise and are still bidding strong money for correctly specced cars.
Whats a correctly specced car ? Basically, non poverty spec but more specifically a minimum of 'good' spec with clubsport, 'good to heavy' spec with buckets non clubsport or 'heavy' spec with comfort standard seats.
Went to look at the two GT4's in Chester today, very nice, loved the Viper Green type colour but my missus hated it, so good job I didn't have the PTS option. Sales guy had his facts in order which was nice too (bearing in mind I know the history of the two cars); said the blue one was for sale because the owner is into his race cars and has a new race car on the way, and the green one was plain and simple being flipped, but wasn't supplied by them, so it was ok (fair enough).
Jon (oojonoo), was going to ask for you, but think I saw you in the office looking very busy and important, so left you to it.
They had an Ultra Violet GT3RS in the showroom too just in case anyone wanted to have a nosey, stunning!

I love that green but I think it will look better with PCCB :-)Saw the Viper car at Chester today, nicely specced but if you're going to the trouble of PTS, i think Green stitching inside would have finished the car off perfectly rather than red; but who am i to complain as i can't afford one stunning car nevertheless and very jealous of all you GT4 owners out there.

Not specific to Chester because all OPC's seem to do it, but why do they insist on taking appalling photos of their cars, then super impose them (badly) onto a generic background?!?! In this case, that looks horrendous and is a £110k car!melvster said:

No option for green stitching, unless there is some kind of tailored service to Porsche customers that will offer this? It is a hard colour to match with anything else.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
