The car I drove at the Porsche Experience that had Sport-tex felt more comfortable than the full leather car I drove, not sure why that would be. Comfort levels were high in both but just felt a bit more cushioned by the Sport-tex.

I'm really hoping the stitching goes okay with the crayon painted interior, looks okay on the configurator.

I know what you mean. I also found that the Sport-tex seemed more comfortable than the same leather ones - perhaps there is more padding with the material. Comfort combined with the deviated stitching made it for me. That being said I would have liked Alcantara.

I think Carmine is good value - suitable for both weddings AND funerals.
Couldn't say the same for Lava & Miami.

It was Alcantara that forced me down the standard seats route. So far I am really happy with the decision, but I've only had an afternoon at PEC Silverstone and about an hour in the delivered car today to base it on. Guess I could always get the leatherette bits redone in leather if it came to it, but the only real disappointment is that the "new car" smell is a bit plasticky for a Porsche.

Very nice! For me, it has been worth the wait, but I know it's a long one, and can feel even longer.

I've posted this pic before, but think it shows how great the Cayman looks in Miami.
It doesn't - to my eyes, on this screen - look much like Miami, though. I think this is closer:

Respectfully disagree. It has a far more green cast to it than captured in nearly all photos.

All I'll say is - don't order it unless you've seen it.
I think it looks phenomenal - but if I'd ordered a car based on Neil's pic, I'd sh*t a brick when the car actually turned up.

Absolutely, and I think it looks great too, but on my laptop screen the pic Neil shared is about as close as I've seen to the real thing. Now if it was a lighter shade, closer to Tiffany Blue, or Daphne Blue as Dupont called it about 60 years ago, I would have ordered a new car in something other than white for the first time in my life. Looks fabulous and very eye-catching, but wasn't quite for me when I saw it in real life.

Got Miami Blue Porsches in the game I'm working on. Porsche approved RGB values are 2,180,209. Hope that helps.

Do you have the RGB value for Crayon? I need to sort out a custom livery for my GT3 in iRacing biggrin

Can I ask what is the least expensive 718 someone has actually bought that they are satisfied with, we all seem to be putting a fair few extras on it, so I am interested as to how close to £40K someone had got & are still happy with there spec.

Most of my options are cosmetic or performance. If I was on a serious budget I reckon the only thing I'd consider a must have would be 20" rims smile

Mine is relatively low spec base model, with standard 18" wheels, standard seats, and the only non essential extras in my view are the carbon dash, PTV and PASM. Final OTR price was £48,775.

I reckon you could knock off carbon, PTV, PASM and metallic paint, and end up with a nice car for about £45-46k.

Has anyone managed to do it much cheaper than me?
