It is a bit expensive - there is a physcial fitting aspect to it and also a softwear requirement that Porsche need to do, looking at a fair few hundreds to get it done..

From what i recall pcm would pair to your mobile and enable you to call and receive calls hands free, you didnt need a duplicate sim like on pcm 2. It just didnt get all your phonebook from your phone so you just had to save your favourite numbers, it was ok just not as good as full on bluetooth, this was on a 2010 gen 2.

Thanks for that!

Doesn't make a great deal of difference really, just ensuring I know what I'm getting! smile

so there are varying levels of bluetooth? Does it allow music streaming or not? Bear in mind this PCM 3.0.

I'm confused now, I thought i'd nailed it in my own mind but the complexities of Porsche optionality is breaking me

why would you spec sports seats in a cayman R, just why.

The laughter from the factory must have been heard all the way from Berlin when they get that order in! Might as well buy an S!

there is barely an HP difference.

Porsche fits superexpensive Lightweight special with carbon buckets and first thing you do is put the Lead-weight comfort seats back in hehe

Absence of buckets would be of no concern to me. As a track toy I may want buckets but a Cayman would be a daily drive for many, including myself, so sports seats no big deal...,

Me neither.

If everything else was present a lack of buckets wouldn't bother me. If the weight was such an issue I'd buy a Caterham or a treadmill laugh

nothing to do with weight, it's the feel and what the car should have.

just buy a normal Cayman if you want PDK and sports seats.

Why buy a R then ruin all the fee bits, very odd. Buckets are £6k ffs
