Not sure, but if it annoyed him I guess it's perfectly acceptable to take steps to avoid it happening again if it's his car ??
Yes, no pictures please.

Generally 1-2 weeks, depending on ferry timing I think.

Mine should be in the dealer exactly 2 weeks after the build date.

Hi Everyone, I have been around the forum for a while just not posted. I now have a build date of January for my Spyder not quite finalised but looking at silver with the classic interior. Any thoughts?

Drove the GT silver PEC car the other month and imo the interior is underwhelming......not helped by the identical colour red stitching with red leather. Each to their own I guess. Unsure if the car is still there.

+1

Repeating a previous post I know but I was also unimpressed with the Silver/Classic combo of the PEC car. The only thing about the Spyder I wasn't was wowed by. But if we all liked the same things it would be a very boring world.

I've gone classic, which I deliberated over, When I drove the car at pec I thought the car looked miles better with roof off.
Could be a bit of a marmite one

I had a completed build date of 22nd of October and I'm told I should be able to collect my car at the end of next week.

Has anyone else been advised that 918 seats are no longer an option? Also, I'm keen to see a picture of an Agate Grey car if anyone has one or has managed to find one?

918 Seats aren't that comfortable for some shapes and they cost £900 odd too the standard buckets are fine and now can be heated too

I was told by OPC (Bolton) last week that they are no longer an option in UK. Shame..... :-(

That was the advice from my OPC - they look good but not ideal if you are 6' and older than 50

I go for comfort any day + Burmeister sound + illuminated door sills !!

Nov 5 for my drive day at Silverstone

Daft comment! Perfectly comfortable for every day use with normal seats.

Not sure why you should say that. Roof apart the car is little different from a GTS with X73 in the comfort stakes. Some will buy the Spyder for the individual look, some the extra torque of the 3.8 engine. As a (mostly) fine weather car, driven with the roof down it clearly has appeal to many. Given that it is likely to hold it's value better than most other Boxsters, it's not a bad buy either.
