Where has this news come from, or just your opinion?

3.0 turbo from the 911. 402hp. Manual only. Launch colour - green.

Read it in the bottom of my 3rd Kronenbourg.

No 911 GTS....
Can't believe you're chopping it in Fokker, having taken a 991 GTS for a spin and thought it good fun, be interesting to see why you prefer it to the GT4. Not that I'll get the chance to compare the 2 myself!

I'd be inclined to think it will be a turbo. Do you care to share the source of the info?
There was supposedly a quote from an Aussie Exec, needs multiple grains of salt.

Bought a GT silver 991 GTS yesterday. I just miss the 911 shape and practicality. I can put the 2 kids in the back of the 911!
It won't be as good to drive thats for sure but as an everyday prospect, its suits me better.

Will be sad to see the GT4 go. Its on for £89991 at Bolton. There is interest in the car so should be gone this week. If not it'll be coming down to £87991 making it the cheapest in the country and a good spec to boot!

Maybe not the best thing to be telling the prospective buyer!! Congrats again on the purchase - luvverly cars.

Bargain!

You may want to delete that post as I would image many buyers will be looking at this web site.

Looks like the premium is slowly ebbing away as we get towards the winter. Lots of stock and some optomistic prices being asked. I think these will ease even further once 991.2 GT3 manuals are announced.

Gt3 is a much more expensive car though. You'll be looking at 120 /130k with a half decent spec.
That's twice the price of a base GT4 plus getting one won't be easy. Some people have been saying that they reckon Porsche will release larger numbers.

i think they'll be in pretty limited supply like last time and furthermore, the flippers might not be so keen to speculate this time knowing of all the drama that surrounded the gt4 situation. It's a bigger gamble for them, could put people off.

Flipping the early cars into specialists fair enough but mid to late run cars are harder to capitalise on.

Time will tell!

Prices look about the same to me, if anything ave price looks higher.

You will always get the odd low price car.

There are a few nice spec cars priced in the high £80k area, this was not the case a month or two ago.

Still a handful of 100k plus cars still trying to prop the market up if you ask me.

As more cars get priced into the £80k area others will have to follow if they want out.

I am hopeful of getting a GT3 this time and will go manual if allocated, I expect my spec to be circa £125k with Clubsport and PCCB's,it wont be a flipper though but a keeper to drive! I think its still worth it over a 100k GT4

But the gt3 won't be a £125k car it will end up being a £160k car for just like the gt4 is now a circa £90k car!

One is mine and the other is the white one at Chester? That was sold a long time ago they told me for 90 something...
The rest of the 80's car are pretty poor specs? You need to spend 93k to get anything decent?

I think prices are still pretty strong and now production has ended and Porsche can advertise them, I am surprised that there aren't more for sale on the Porsche locator. 12/13 cars.

I predicted the 110k for the GT4 and I predict the first flipped 991.2 GT3 to start at 180k for the club sort cars.
The Gen 1 991 is still hovering around the 130 - 140k average mark and with the RS being about 210k -£220 plus, the Gen II GT3 will be strong due to the novelty manual gearbox.
I think we could even see them as high as 200k.

I reckon the manual Gen II will trade at a premium closer to Gen 1 991 RS' but of course the more that hit the market, prices will come down slightly.

With all the hype surrounding the 911R, the next GT3 with a manual gearbox will be hot property.

it's daft to quote high £80k lol they are all £89,995 !!! so £90k !

I am not so sure prices have moved down, the 3 BIG dealers are selling cars at £100k no issues, Romans, Top55 and TH
OPC can now sell cars and most of those are £100k, OPC ave price for the 12 cars listed is £97.5k

ave price I bet is up from last month over all.

cars with buckets and leather have been £90k for months and months, and the same stands today, cars under £90k seem to have bits missing bar the odd quick sale, I always base a quick look on cars with leather buckets and PCM, and all are £90k !! with £50 cash back lol

So nothing has changed !! people may put £89,995 but that's £90k the same as it's been all 2016 !!! only the big values were 2015 and £30k overs.

OPC prices are great for private sellers wanting to sell at £90k imo.

ALso the pricing is in the detail, people are trying to get £20k overs for lower spec cars, when Carbon, PDSL, cruise etc all make the car more sellable and higher RRP.

Look for a full speced car and it's a whole new ball game and much lower overs imo but those cars seem to be selling quite fast.

Spec is going to set the cars apart just like it does with the Cayman R and values.

And 95% of buyers imo will pay £2k more if the car has Carbon, PDSL's etc over a £90k car without, I know I would.

I would say 95% will want LWB, extended leather/alcantara, sound package plus and then half of that would probably also want clubsport as a minimum. PDSL (which really isn't much better that std) and carbon tat (which makes the cockpit very dark) I don't think are that desirable for resale. The rest of the options are not as compulsory IMHO, although two-zone climate and blue tooth is a nice to have, but not a deal breaker. After that its just colour.

buckets are a given :-)

CS well less than half the cars were sold with CS I bet so again 50/50 split on the cage or not, I might even say 70/30 myself for a non CS car, some love it, some hate it, I don't like it myself.

Carbon looks great imo, I added it right at the end as it looks hi end to me and finished it off and goes well with most colours esp yellow and goes with the carbon backed seats.
The standard looks cheap and the black looks rank which is what I did order but changed last minute to Carbon after viewing it.

You tend to find non Carbon cars lack a lot of other stuff again making £70k cars, which a lot of people seem to limit the spend to on here.

As you say Bluetooth, and 2 zone climate tend to go hand in hand with people ticking PDSL, cruise etc etc and specing up the car.
I think the PDSL adds great value to the car as they offer a much wider spread of light and move with the steering, great lights imo.
my fav upgrade in fact.

I ticked every thing which was not tat for tat sake, and my car was £75k and has all the major bits.

a lot of cars you see at £90k are £70k cars not £75k cars.

Imo and it's only that, I see cars at this level need all the toys and bits, to miss out Bluetooth, climate, cruise on a £95k car seems stupid imo, they were cheap tick boxes.

I tend to use all the toys most days, PDSL, cruise, climate, Bluetooth all get well used on my car. PDSL will come into it's own now the nights have drawn in for us older guys :-)

Bluetooth IS a major deal breaker to me, the fine for being seen with a phone in a car is now 6 points from 2017!!! It's about time Bluetooth was a legal requirement as it's life saving out in the real world, esp white van man/woman crossing the white lines with some phone in their ear !!! I see it 3 or 4 times a day !!!

get caught twice on a phone and you get £1000 fine and 6 months ban with the new rules !!!

I can understand track cars not having stuff, but £100k cars which you want to use imo DO need every thing.

Just FYI Porsche still require the car to be 6 months old before advertised via the OPC network. There are more available, but it stands to reason that cars will hang around at this time of year.

Guys the model is now defunct right
12 months on its an old model and like the Ferrari of the day or iPhone of the day. People move on and therefore 100% guaranteed the price will dip below list very soon.
Max 18 months until a new limited edition comes out and these owners off load

The average new model Ferrari has had 2 owners inside 18 months fact !!! The car has done well so far but the profit will vanish when a new version appears.
