Personally don't think either red or yellow look that good with a blue car - If looks are your prime consideration I would go for the black calipers of the base car with silver wheels!
Soon we'll be able to get coloured discs too!: http://www.carid.com/chrome-brakes/Have ordered Plain Cayman, as will only do 1 or 2 track days, plus @ over 60 I think basic Cayman will suit my need for speed !! ?

I would remove:
Entry and drive - the implementation on the 981 was basically a permanent key fob in the ignition which didnt look great.
Reversing camera - do you need it? Front and rear sensors are invaluable just not sure if you need the camera, Cayman is quite a small car.
Folding mirrors - dont really add much, but agree they do look good.
Swissvax - is that being done by the dealer? If so its probably overpriced so maybe consider a aftermarket alternative.
Power Steering Plus (assume thats what you mean) - do you need it? Makes the steering v light at low speeds, handy for parking but little else.
Adaptive Cruise - maybe save some £££s and go for standard cruise instead?
PDLS - double check but I think Xenon lights are standard, not sure if you need the adaptive lights, its a expensive option
Now that I have saved you a few pennies...let me spend them again!
PASM - should help ride for day to day driving, plus be handy if you're planning to track it

Thanks for your commenta mogli882.....
I need reversing camera as when I reverse into my driveway, have 3ft wall @ side & is unlit.
Don't believe Xenons are std.
Your right will just have std cruise control.
Folding mirrors...............good way to check that car is locked I think !
PASM....still undecided, will it make a difference to everyday driving ?
Carplay.............what is it ?
Heated seats............£284 is it worth it ? + as seats are leather, maybe get a bit sweaty on a long trip ?.......so ventilated seats maybe worth the extra £682 ................Thoughts ??

Re carplay - as Edo is saying its handy as it gives you more functionality in the nav, real time traffic etc, plus I think software updates can be done over the air.I would remove:

PASM is something I would always spec if going for 20s, the roads are generally pretty poor and it will definitely help give you a more comfortable drive, you can always enable sport mode for the track if needed. Its always adjusting, so even when in normal mode if you do start driving more aggressively (while adhering the speed limit of course!) it will firm up.
Re heated seats, never had that issue, on the lowest setting (in my A5) its a nice subtle warmth, great on cold winter mornings.
As for the ventilated option, have always heard good things but at almost £700 overpriced.

If you're over 60 and have added the 18 way (comfy) seats then PASM should be the first option on your list, not an afterthought.not heard about delivery since I ordered in July

With the 718's suspension being firmer than my 981's, PASM will soften out the bumps and make for a better ride. PASM in the 718 is still slightly firmer than the 981's version but as I found the 981 standard set up rather crashy I'd guess the 718's is worse still.
I stumbled across my PASM car by chance but if I was ordering new it would be top of the option list. When pressing on over 80mph PASM's Sport setting is sublime in smoothing the ride. 100 times batter than magnetic ride in my previous TTS which just rattled my teeth!
As for the garage, how about a 7 series BMW? See: https://youtu.be/QI76wpx-IO4

Agree re the TTs - I took a new one out for a extended drive this year and magnetic ride was terrible, even in comfort it was way too firm and crashy. I had thought that being part of the same group it would be similar to PASM but it was nowhere near as refined. With the 718's suspension being firmer than my 981's, PASM will soften out the bumps and make for a better ride. I'm glad Porsche kit isn't shared around like everything else in the group, it's part of what makes their cars special. How long that will last though......

No, no, no, please don't fake PCCB! Please re-consider for these reasons:
1/ You'll feel proud of your yellow calipers when in the car alone but... imagine chatting to another Porsche owner who has real PCCB's and asks you "How do you find yours?" What will you say? "They're fantastic" or "Ah...actually they're fake."
2/ When you come to re-sell, having something non-standard and difficult/expensive to correct will put most buyers off.
3/ There must be something better you can spend £800 on?
4/ Fake PCCBs is like someone sticking an "M" badge on the back of their non-M BMW - makes me cringe every time.
5/ It's entirely up to you. Enjoy the car whatever!
1) It is a Porsche option so they are not fake, just a dealer option here in Dubai. So my conversation would go something like "I chose yellow over red calipers"1/ You'll feel proud of your yellow calipers when in the car alone but... imagine chatting to another Porsche owner who has real PCCB's and asks you "How do you find yours?" 2) Ditto on resale since it's a dealer option so wouldn't affect me. However, we all lose a stupid amount of money on these cars and accept that when we sign on the dotted line.
3) The only thing I considered was Torque Vectoring but thought it was overkill for a car getting me to/from work every day
4) Not fake, just yellow (see point 1 and 2)
5) We buy these cars to enjoy, not to impress others so I will - thank you!

Thanks to some good advice on this forum, I changed to the black interior. Thanks for the heads up.
The sapphire blue with yellow calipers is the winning combo for me. It might be cheating (a little) but getting the paint without forking out for the ceramic brakes are still worth it for the aesthetic reward. However, I'm yet to see a picture of a 718 Cayman in Sapphire blue.
