Sorry, I meant to ask anyway of knowing tyre temperatures for GT4?
It’s an option if you scroll through the onboard computer in the instrument cluster. I think you can turn it off it the options so, if it’s not there you might have to go through the settings and add it to the menu.ETA Sorry I read that as pressures - don’t think that you can display temps.

Temperature is only useful really if you're measuring the temps on the outside middle and inside face of the tyre with a pyrometer to see how your geo is working it.
On Thursday morning my car goes into my OPC to have the PADM fixed with the revised parts. This afternoon I had a call on my mobile from the OPC's phone number. Thinking it would be the service dept calling to remind me about the booking, I answered... but I was surprised to hear a salesman on the other end of the phone(!) The conversation went as follows:
Salesman: "I see your GT4 is with us this Thursday for servicing. When you're here would you like to come and have a chat with me to discuss getting you out of the GT4 into a nice 992 GT3 we have in stock. It's not quite as bright as your Python Green, but it's a bright colour."
Me: "Thanks but to be honest the GT3 doesn't interest me, I don't see the price gap between GT4 and GT3 as justifiable for my own personal needs. I love my GT4, I ordered the car new to my own spec, so I paid list avoided 3-4 price rises, and I got in before the parts shortage so it's nicely specced."
Salesman: "Fair enough, well if the GT3 doesn't interest you, would you consider us buying your car outright? Now they have stopped making them we have people waiting for a GT4 with a spec like yours, so we could give you strong money for it. I retailed a 2019 Manual for £83k last week, so I think a 2022 PDK like yours would be above that on the offer to you".
I declined again, and laughed it off. But I got the distinct impression they had a potential buyer lined up for my car if they could get it into stock one way of another. IMO an interesting call considering the state of the market. Possibly one or more factors... Struggling to sell overpriced 992's. Can't get decent spec 718 GT4's due to them being discontinued. 4RS not available to the masses and priced significantly over GT4 money. Summer's coming and GT4's are going to be very thin on the ground etc etc

I see very little downside if any for prices paid for new GT4’s over the past few years and more than likely upside based on simple economics of supply and demand. I think we’ll specd cars will become very desirable imo Salesman: "I see your GT4 is with us this Thursday for servicing. I too got a much stronger offer for my GT4 (2023, PDK, CS, PCCB, 5k miles) than I expected against a new 992 recently.
Obviously, there’s a sweetener to sell a 992 but I was pleased to find my dealer didn’t share the internet’s doom and gloom surrounding the GT4 and forecasted a strong summer for the right cars.

Didn't even discuss it? Seems a bit odd as their offer may have been amazing.Salesman: "I see your GT4 is with us this Thursday for servicing. Yeah no way of knowing temps, but temp is related to pressure so it's good enough for trackdays - aim for 29psi hot all around.
Temperature is only useful really if you're measuring the temps on the outside middle and inside face of the tyre with a pyrometer to see how your geo is working it.
Don't agree, it's ridiculous that Porsche still have not integrated temperature into the tyre sensors so it is possible to monitor both pressure and temp at the same time. Other manufacturers like Mclaren and Ferrari don't seem to have a problem doing that for example. And if you keep on lowering the pressure to keep the pressure at a certain level (and michelin themselves would recommend higher than 29psi as the operating pressure on cup2s), it is quite possible at some point the tyre can and will overheat so being able to keep track of where it is would not be a bad idea.Temperature is only useful really if you're measuring the temps on the outside middle and inside face of the tyre with a pyrometer to see how your geo is working it.

Let’s be honest the ICE Cayman is end of life so it’s not as if the factory are going to bother adding any new features that they don’t have to.I’m fairly sure the Huf/BHsens in wheel pressure sensors as fitted from middle of last decade are capable of measuring temperature, if the factory where to surface the functionality.
I thought with the 992(.1) generation 911 ticking the Sport Chrono option added graphical temperature monitoring via little coloured bars beside the pressure value. Blue for cold and white for operating temperature.

I wonder how many have actually sold in the last couple of months ?
I can think of three ... all of which were priced at around £160-£165k for a very high spec car with a good story. With one of them the watch was free ... !! Only one had PCCB's, which I would not want on a GT3 or GT4RS ... the other two had mags ...
From memory ... the 17 cars before Christmas has become 25+.
Prices are falling but I wonder if they are just following the market down. Which will be the first to de-couple from the norm and sell ?
The UV car looks lovely, but still £20k over current list.
There is a non Weissach car at £155 ... I contacted the OPC two months ago to say that I was interested but that it was far too expensive, I didn't get a reply and it's still there and still too expensive compared to others.
One of the three sold (with the free watch) was a very nice but high spec car and that OPC was really on the ball. But by then I had changed direction.
