Boxster Spyder

Can't believe an OPC is selling one with that ste on the back.
Good luck to Cambridge though, if this carries on the first used £50k Spyder can't be far off - especially white, Spyder alloys, manual, buckets, sports chrono and sports exhaust. Hmmm, where could I find me one of those...

Possibly so but I'm not sure the used Spyder market does. People seem to want the wheels, seats, gears of their choice and sports exhaust and possibly sports chrono but everything else (or the absence of) is just an added bonus.griffter said:
Bucket seats are harder to get into, but when you do, they grip you tighter and are more enjoyable. They heighten the sense of the car bucking about beneath you.
Love them on my 911, would not have wanted them on my Boxster. Can't beat heated seats on a cold morning or 3am blast through the welsh mountains where it can get really nippy. Strangely, women seem to prefer the buckets and find them more comfortable and found the heated seats gave them mild nausea.
Could have been my aftershave though....
...or my deft driving skillz.....

not sure what having them on a Boxster proves, every one wants heated seats on a normal Boxster. The Spyder is whole new ball game, the roof putting the normal Boxster owner right off esp women. oem fitment was a bucket seat because of the concept of the car, take them out and the concept is 1/2 gone. Can't beat heated seats on a cold morning or 3am blast through the welsh mountains where it can get really nippy. I've driven mine through the Welsh mountains at -5 degrees C and don't have heated seats - the heater's good enough - other than taking the initial chill off cold leather I don't think they make that much difference? I like aircon though but as I am only 12 stone that's ok ;-)
