There aren't more because they're very popular - simple supply and demand!

i think Spring will be an interesting indicator of how the market is. Will people chop them in for something else or hang on to them? Me, I'll be doing the latter from now until the end of my days...

Summer just gone CGTS and BGTS were selling quickly again limited choice, people were mopping them up quickly as the last of the flat six, missed quite a few when i was looking.

The job the GTS does makes it pretty special, its all round good at everything expected from a proper sports car. I don't think it will be replaced.

Twin.....thought you were going 718? biggrin

Ha ha, as if!!! biggrin

Only if Porsche release another NA GT4 (which I personally think is very, very unlikely) will I consider changing my CGTS. I would also only do it if the car had a more special engine (none of this de-tuned stuff) and the price was realistic. Not sure I'd get allocated a build slot anyway as I'm not an OPC brown noser!

The black manual car is the one a few of us probably used at PEC.

My circumstances changed recently and I can't get much use out of mine at the moment....(wedding to save for etc) I toyed with selling it but my missus convinced me to just put it in storage indefinitely over selling it. I guess they are both keepers!!!

Sure they are....
She'd be a keeper if she allowed you and her to plan a cheaper wedding and thus allow you to use your car.
OR is it really you who wants the gold embossed invitations and matching chair covers...?

Hahaha, It's self imposed thriftiness - she's been around longer than the nice cars and expensive life choices... and I'm still hoping the wedding will cost less than the honeymoon driving to the Himalayas!! (or the ring she wants) Otherwise I'll be selling a spare kidney as well as the GTS.

Did you have gold chair covers at yours? Maybe you can just hand 'em down to me. Pistonheads, we are all in it together right? wink

View from my home office right now - my OCD is twitching as the M5 was washed the other day, 993 washed yesterday but I can't remember the last time the GTS was washed and I can't be bothered to do it myself or risk it with the local hand wash place frown

That's a nice selection.

Go wash it now smile - You'll sleep easy tonight smile
Didn't wash it, but I did take it out in the rain to rag through the Hindhead tunnel on the way to do a bit of Christmas shopping just now, does that count?!

I'm currently in the process of organising an epic European roadtrip for our honeymoon in June 2017 in our CGTS. Can anyone recommend a car friendly hotel in Carcassone, South of France? Naturally I'm really anal about where I am happy to park the car and as it's running X73, the entry/exit ramps cannot be too steep.

Any help would be much appreciated

Dependent upon what quality of hotel you want but the Mercure in Carcasonne is better than it looks, and has walled secure parking, no ramps. We've stayed there on car tours with some very low machines with no problems. Also it's 5 mins walk to the walled city.

Perfect, thanks Andy, I'll take a look. As the misses doesn't read this forum I'll confess the quality of the parking is much more important than the quality of the hotel biggrin

I know several people who have used Mid Sussex and have nothing but praise for them. After we broke off diplomatic relations with our local OPC (Bournemouth) it was a toss up whether we went to Mid Sussex or Dick Lovett in Swindon, ended up with Dick Lovett as they found a car we were looking for first! ( a 997/2 Carrera S, the car prior to the BGTS we have now).

As an approved used Porsche the car will come with a two year warranty so I don't believe you need worry.

Looks nice Jason. Don't think it's good value looking at the mileage and the fact it's a manual which normally are a few quid less than pdk.
