But if you only want 1 special car at that price point...

In a world where cars as we know them are dying, I think the 90k on one car scenario is going to be more common going forward. I always justify my car habit saying they are like shoes / handbags to my wife though biggrin

Not enough of each car - Spyder or GT4.

Both have enough appeal in their own right.
Totally agree and when you consider there list prices + usual £6k for options doubt we will ever see such great value per £ from Porsche againcool

Question for those with spyders - air con - what's life like without it?

You had to go and ask! This will carry on for sometime and you will be no the wiser at the end of it.

Here's my contribution

I didn't have AC in my previous Spyder and 95% of the time it wasn't an issue. It would have been very useful a few times in France when I was in torrential rain on an otherwise hot day and it does clear the window quicker in the morning (Yes 911R I know a minor inconvenience smile).

I do have AC in my current Spyder but have used it maybe three times in a year (same reasons above wet but warm days and clearing window).

So nice but not even close to being a deal breaker.

Got dual zone climate in mine, not used it yet! In fact only driven the car twice with the roof on!! Loving this spyder weather!

Mine packed up on the hottest day last year and driving a spyder from london to cheshire in a traffic jam was pretty unpleasant. Likely only switch it on very occasionally but on that occasion I want it.

What time of year did you go? I ask because I just bought a 964 C2 with no AC but sunroof. Just wondering if I should avoid the summer and only do Euro hoons in the spring / autumn.

I'd look at this kit if you are fitting air conditioning to an older 911.

That looks awesome. Not cheap though but I'll contact them. Thanks!
