Yes, RSR. 3.4l with twin spark heads. I know plenty of purists scoff at these "bitsa" cars, but for me, the looks, the noise and the old school driving thrills makes me happy- and that's what its all about, eh?
To right! Many purists only consider pre 73 cars to be classics let alone a mash up like that.

Stunning and you love it, that's all that counts.

PS. I think it's stunning, just love those wheels.

I live in the Aberdeen area and have seen your car several times, in fact parked next to it at Alford last year (we spoke for a while, (I have the red 3.2 coupé)) Your car is just lovely.

Hi CJB1 - Yes, I do remember meeting you at Alford! Hope you're doing fine - might bump into you at one of the local events in 2014?

Hi hot66 - Glad you like it! The car was only stickered for Le Mans and is back to normal now ( well, I left one or two on!).I'll have a look at DDK again. I've only occasionally popped over there for a look. I just get the feeling that some of the DDK community are a bit more keen on original cars? My car has popped up on the internet a few times - maybe you have seen it already ( look for pictures of it on the website of Polished Bliss). Cheers, Steve

Stickers are very easy to apply ( and not sticky so no need to worry about paint as long as you are careful) . Look for instructions and options by googling a sticker company such as " I say ding dong". My Jaegermeister vinyl logos came from a friends graphics company ( they sticker local vans, etc). DDK are a forum for pre impact bumper cars. Hope this helps.

Most ddkers I know are hotrodders / car modifiers at heart .... There are a few vocal 'originality' freaks , but you'll find they also love any well built car smile

MTR is right I think. I have a picture somewhere of true Viper Green which is grassier and bluer. The official description of the RS colour (wild imagination here) is:

Green

What size tyres do you have fitted?
215 60 R15 Goodyear NCT
Yes, standard was 195/65/15 and 215/60/15 was a popular option. It must just be the camera angle which makes them look wider, or maybe the shiny walls which contrive to make them look a little bulbous.
Here's a few more with fat rubber......
