Been enjoying the car to the max, it is totally immersive and a bit bonkers, every squirt of the throttle even to 6000 rpm just makes me laugh. The CR6ZZ’s give a fair amount of grip and you can get the power down on really poor surfaces. The joy of a properly set up “old” 911!
My attempts at in-car video are rubbish so far. I don’t think the inbuilt microphone on my gopro 7 black properly conveys the sound from the cabin. Any recommendations for solutions/external microphones?
I use this, you just need to buy a case for the gro pro that can accept it, works really well across the different cars I have and brings out the proper noise in my experience. This case should be fine but double check:
Vlog Case Action Camera Housing Shell Vlogging Cage Frame with Cold Shoe Mount Compatible with GoPro Hero 7 6 5 Black for External Microphone & Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter https://amzn.eu/d/g5bdqnb
- you will also need the official gro pro 3.5mm to usbC adapter.

Andrew - congrats on the 911K. Interested in your comments re the CR6ZZs. Any opinion / points of comparison against TB15's? Struggling to get hold of TB15's where I am and wondered if the Avons would be a viable alternative. Thanks. My attempts at in-car video are rubbish so far. Thanks. I will look into this further! Henry Catchpole will no doubt do a video in the spring so I may just leave it to the professionals!RØDE VideoMicro Compact On-camera Directional Microphone for Filmmaking, Content Creation and Location Recording https://amzn.eu/d/35hAyei

Thank you! I’ve not tried TB15’s though I know Richard considered them but opted for the Avons instead. He did tell me why but I can’t recall, will find out. As my car was build #2, it is benefiting from updates because Tuthill are continuing to tweak the car.
Here are the rally timers, customised by Bremont with the Tuthill and 911K logos and mounted on a carbon plate.
Also the airbox for the heater has been replaced with a carbon one.
A few other updates to come in the near future.

That looks absolutely stunning Andrew!!! Fantastic to see you using it as intended as well! Hope you get many happy miles in her!
Thank you. Yes, it has been used in all weathers since I collected it late last year. Only recently that it has been dry and reasonably warm, and I have been able to push it a bit more.
