Would be interesting to know how many of these CS's that are being sold, are going abroad.
None from Meridien, they have a very strict policy of selling local - how else will they get the car back to turn again. smile

Evo car of the year 2003 says it all for me:

1 Porsche 911 GT3 (996.2)
2 Lamborghini Gallardo
3 Renault Clio V6 255
4 Ferrari 360 CS

Questionable value when they were 80/90k and a huge premium for the film star looks and sonics .... but 150k+ is plain madness, totally out of synch with the actual driver experience you are purchasing. But then i guess they are now just collectables so WGAF what they actually drive like anymore.

As with anything, something is only ever worth what a person is prepared to pay! Seems daft but if one idiot lottery winner pops along then he may get lucky!

They will when the bubble bursts. Sometimes its best to cash in your overvalued stock whilst the going is good.

I know they say the market never lies but there can't be many more people out there and prepared to pay these over inflated prices for what a hyped up 360 ??
Madness IMHO but as I won't be dipping my hand in my pocket for even £100k for one I'm not bothered and I just say good luck to everyone who owns one
Make hay whilst the sun is shining guys cus there is always a big thunder storm looming in the UK.

But more importantly don't just look at it in the garage afraid to drive the damn thing - its a car 1st and foremost ENJOY

Interesting that in EVO COTY 2003 a standard bogo Gallardo was voted above the 360 CS. wink

Journalists are always right which is why the Gallardo is not the car that has retained its value...

Oh it will be an exclusive club, taking the last half a dozen G Spider shells that are gathering dust, painting then a different colour and calling then a silly name . . . . there's only a limited few people that will fall for that wink

You forgot the stripe man ! .....and 40% of the weight loss through the use of PROPER carbon fibre.
It might not be hyped up by owners like the CS but it is the REAL deal believe me I've driven both.
Residuals are actually very strong on LP models and you can actually drive them without things falling off or the value plummeting

If I wanted something to look at I would go and buy a Van Gogh shoot

I've got to try soapbox its my life savings we are talking about scratchchin

Can only wish it retains some of its value but do think it is very underrated. I chose it in preference to a 458 Italia and I'm a "Ferrari" man.

I've vowed to never part company with my F355GTS so I hope the CS continues to fly the flag for the brand. Happy that the F355 is now worth more than the standard 360 TBH

The CS from the day it was launched has never had a bad review and for that prices will keep going up! The the F355 will do same eventually and the only reason why they have not rose so quickly in price was due to the high production numbers and varied models. The CS was limited production numbers. The CS will be F40 value one day because it's rawness to drive just like the F40.

What will the F40 be worth then ? You will be talking £ millions.

I've had 3 people contact me directly asking me to sell the CS because they know it's not just a hyped up 360, so there's plenty of people who want them out there. It's more than just hype that they are appreciating in value, some are buying because it's a good bet that they'll continue to increase because of it's rarity and it's philosophy plus it's heritage.

Good luck with the Gallardo and your single crusade to increase their value, but with them having more limited edition models that Zonda I think you'll need it.

Agree too many models launched. The CS was one model with no upgrades or modifications to improve it.
