I've now seen some of the history on the car and pics of the accident damage and it on the jig, there's also a print of the parts invoice but quality of scan is too poor to read.

Accident in 2006
Insurance wrote it off as £17k+ repair bill on £33k value car and parts supply was not guaranteed
Seemingly Insured was not registered keeper or owner, may have been on trader policy as paid out by NU commercial?, it's odd that it's a Cat D because the insurer appears to have paid for the repair although info maybe incorrect and it could be that they paid out total loss and owner or somebody else bought it for repair

repaired by http://www.gaskellmotorbodies.com

Car went to Cyprus sometime between 2010 and 2011 and came back around a Year ago
Had some work done in 2011 in Cyprus with service, tyres, water pump, tubi, new bushes, brake pads, wheel bearings, drop links, wishbones powder coated etc (pads and latter parts seem odd for such a low mileage car) however all docs tally with mileage for a very little used car, also had wrong tyre valves, given the mileage and tread depth at accident I'd have thought tyres would have been original so why new valves at some point?

Service and other work was done on a budget with things being repaired rather than replaced i.e. leaking coolant tank, HT leads also info that drivers door and steering column locks were removed and the refitted after some work, possible theft or lost keys maybe?

btw I suspect the service book maybe missing

99% sure the work was done by me in Cyprus. Did the invoice say platinum Supercars on it? If its the car I'm thinking of, it belonged to a guy in Larnaca, he spent a lot of money on it. As well as the work mentioned I fitted new fuel tanks and some other stuff. It had HT leads due to a missfire but it had an underlying fuelling issue (possibly a dodgy injector) but he didn't want to spend any more on it.The damage repairs aren't great..
