Some great cars here but why is it celebrating 'manuals' when the real celebrating going on concerns colour/interior/spec? Perhaps it shows the stick with the knob on the top is secondary to the aforementioned...

Not a dig, just an observation smile

Is your car on spacers?

Looks like a really nicely filled out stance in the top picture
No spacers and std suspension other than a proper geo set up.

One thing that does stand out so far is the different interior colors. When i searched for my F430 it needed to be a Red Manual steel braked car with either tan or black interior. Most were F1 red with crema IE resale spec.

I guess what i am saying is the people who bought new and chose a manual box were doing so for personal preference and not for resale.

Does anyone have a 2008 or even 2009 manual? The manual cars seem more common in '05, '55, and '06; from then on they seemed to thin out, which i suppose is indicative of the sea change in the marketplace as more people converted to F1/DSG etc.

Haha, well you make a good point... the F1 car that 911F posted was the first I ever drove and was the car that put me on the path to my eventual purchase (albeit I went around the houses with 308/355/360 before reaching my desitination smile )

I was told by a Ferrari dealer that my '07 was a very late manual and there were hardly none in 2008 and 2009. There was also a recession then so there weren't that many overall.

There had been a few in 2008/2009, well at least in the US.
But yes most of the manual F430 were 2005 & 2006MY.

Interestingly, it seems the options list really expanded over the life of the car, for instance later options were parking sensors, Bose etc... most of the 05/06 cars aren't massive spec with owners seemingly focused more on colour combinations, carbon/ali dash choices, and seat choice (stock/Daytona/carbon), and F1 v Manual choice.

During my search I was also surprised how few Spiders were spec'ed with heated seats...... would have been the first box I ticked - maybe Ferrari buyers have well padded bottom's thus no need !!!

The biggest surprise factor on my car that I was happy to see was the passenger airbag deactivation switch.... not sure if this was standard or an option, but an essential feature for anyone with younger kids.

Congrats Zero - that is certainly a fine example!

Here's my old car (that started your journey to F430 greatness) Not a manual - but I loved the F1 box once I mastered it

Perfect plate had it been a manual! smile

Hi ZeroH
The Clarion / Ferrari head unit works good enough there is better units out there for that money but don't have the Ferrari name on them.
Make sure you get the Dab adaptor if you go with the Clarion.

Stunning Keith ! Same as my spec bar carpets and seats.... love the carbon race seats... would be the first box I ticked if speccing from new.
