Not sure if I agree with the whole CS boat has sailed view point. Sure there are some RHD cars that are up for high figures but if you are happy to sit on the other side of the car then the Euro market does provide some seeming great value right now. Also on the CS / Scuderia price point the bottom of the market prices are very close - making the purchase decision more dificult :-)
Assuming cars check out (agree there are good an bad out there) if not some will and the overall prices are down on UK...

Thanks for the feedback. What a shame and good to see an honest dealer - saves a wasted trip. Just reaffirms the need to really check these things out...
The search continues - all about the journey!

Bit harsh, looking at your back catalogue I'd say if you were thrown the keys you wouldn't say no and would fancy a flutter you've never driven one either. Can you provide your test driver credentials to help us acertain if we need to heed such critical advice - ta very much.
He will just shut up now he has been outed, much like GRB430 did when I called him out on his Lambos lack of track ability by offering him £1000 bet if him in his Lambo could beat me in my Strad around any track in the country.Bit harsh, looking at your back catalogue I'd say if you were thrown the keys you wouldn't say no and would fancy a flutter you've never driven one either. Its all very well spouting crap on the internet, but alot of us are real people with differing opinions but no BS, people like Jackal make PH a joke TBH. CS work in progess my rrse, what a clown
Your crusade has been overlong, laborious and littered with amateur mistakes and laughable distortion. What was it, 60,00 miles, 6 strads and the only thing that went wrong was a windscreen wiper needed replacing ? The Scud not blipping might just pip that though for sheer stupidity, and even now, you are still conning your poor ferrari mates (who tremble at the knees at the mere hint of a car enthusiast who went racing .. shock horror wow !) that a Challenge Stradale is like a proper racing car.
In conclusion, I say the sooner your car sells the better. A lot of what you have written has struck me as dinstinctly ulgy and coarse. I feel that there is something about the aggression, the boasting and general inelegance you display which does not sit well with the marque. Challenging someone to a race on a public forum when you were backed into a corner was quite possibly the lowest point of all.
Ok, you still haven't answered a key question in all this...
"Can you provide your test driver credentials to help us acertain if we need to heed such critical advice - ta very much."
See if you can tell us you took 3rd in British Touring Car champs then well fair enough and the price of the 360 CS will inevitably hit the floor...
If on the other hand (which I suspect is more likely) you can't tell your left from your right / a$$ from elbow we can then get this (actually quite informative) thread back on track.
You also mention being born into money. Some free investment advice for you. Spend (a fair amount) on English lessons as your grammar and punctuation needs some work!

Slickhillsy, thanks for Autoscout info, most informative PH post I've read in a while.
So I'm thinking, what car has the biggest RHD over LHD premium in UK? I can't think of any car where RHD is double mainland Europe LHD price (prepared to be corrected on this). I'd definitely prefer a RHD vehicle but beyond say a 25% premium you've lost my interest and I'd switch to LHD. Dealers will also start bringing in LHD cars from Europe. My point is, if mainland Europe CS prices are anchored at £75-90k are UK RHD prices sustainable at double that?
Please note these are personal thoughts/questions so don't shoot me down! I'm a buyer so my bias is downwards. I'd love a CS but I just can't make sense of the current prices.
I think the current prices are dictated by the very very low numbers of RHD cars coming to market. However bear in mind you could buy a very nice restored Dino for £75k 7 years ago, £250k now. Worth spending the extra and getting a very good car as it will pay dividend in years to come. I think £140 to £160k is correct ATM, but expect the best cars to be £200k this time next year. Agreed this RHD prices are definitely subject to supply / demand economics. If you're in that market you're in a good place as basic investment / classic status principles apply. It's (for some) getting into the RHD cars that becoming the challenge (forgive the pun).
If you just want to experience the CS (and Scud) magic and LHD works for you then the price point works. Who knows, play the long game - say 20 years for example and the differential might not be so big but I'd like to think overall prices would be strong.
Important thing is as you say to get into the best car you car find. At the end of the day, take all this price chit chat out of the equation (after all is it a nice byproduct of the ownership) and in either cars you have an amazing tool to wake the neighbours with every Sunday morning.
For me that's what matters the most!

Hi mate, TBH RHD prices over LHD are unrealistic, but the problem is worldwide there are ALOT more LHD than RHD, so market forces have dictated the prices, NOT me!! When this thread started I had zero intentions of selling mine, but an opportunity too good to miss has come about, but I am desperate for someone I "know" from one of the forums to buy it coz that's the best chance I will have of buying it back at some point in the future. For those guys looking at buying, LHD does make good financial sense, and the prices of LHD will continue to rise but will always lag £40 to £50k behind good RHD just because of the numbers involved as I said earlier.
Most good RHD will end up in personal collections I guess which is a pity.
Above all this b0ll0x and posturing, most of it from non owning no clue people with no credentials, the Challenge Stradale is up there with some of the best drivers cars ever built, Ive had mine 7 years and every time I drive it, it makes the hairs on my arms stand up and makes me grin like an idiot. During my ownership Ive always been happy to let folk drive my Strad, and it resulted in three of my mates selling what they had and buying in. Ive told them I want a cut of the profit when they sell LOL.
Im not gonna bother posting on this thread again because my interest is in a wonderful car, not pushing the value of my own car, it is what it is, and if it doesn't sell, the naysayers are proved correct and I get to keep a wonderful car, it will just take me two more years to progress my new business. I know these cars inside out and back to front so if anyone wants any advice or help with one LHD or otherwise just email me through here, Im happy to help. Anyone who buys, either LHD or RHD is getting a bargain, these cars will continue to rise and I think £200k is realistic within 2 years for RHD with LHD at £150k.
p.s Gary, Stig would kick my arse in a diesel smart car mate

6 currently on the market with the low mileage LHD cars looking incredible value. Think there is going to be a market correction soon and well before £200k is achieved.
Nothing wrong with cashing in kerrrrrrching and getting out at the top if you can lol
Just proves you knew I was right all along

To be fair, neither car is like a race car - they just aren't! But they are great on the road!
+1 nothing like ANY proper racing carEven a boggo clio cup would make both F's feel like a driving a huge piece of Battenburg cake that is floating inside a giant pool of vaseline.
Scud is the properly realised, matured, semi auomatic V8 of the modern age. CS is an awkward work in progress/transitional car; neither pure/analogue/feelsome nor fast/accurate/digital.
If a Scud is 120k of driving experience then CS should be back at 80k or maybe even less.
The one in Cardiff is appreciating at 10k a month
