The CS from the day it was launched has never had a bad review and for that prices will keep going up! The the F355 will do same eventually and the only reason why they have not rose so quickly in price was due to the high production numbers and varied models. The CS was limited production numbers. The CS will be F40 value one day because it's rawness to drive just like the F40.
What will the F40 be worth then ? You will be talking £ millions.kenyon said:
The CS is doing what the F40 did in its hay day!
In real terms F40 values, at £500k, are where they were at launch. By that measure, £160k for a CS is unsurprising. As an owner I'm bored by the endless price discussions. It's a free market. Much rather see threads discussing their merits as a car, rather than an investment. No intention of selling mine at any price, so it's irrelevant.
-I can't think of another car that appears to upset non-owners quite as much as the CS though....honestly, who cares?

CS, just like the Scud and now the Speciale suffered the odd reviewer who didn't understand the less for more philosophy of the V8 RAW Ferrari's - great reviews with the small aside at the end 'I'll let you into a little secret, if it was my money and for the small difference in performance I'd buy the standard car and save £30k'. Time always proves them wrong, you simply can't put a value on the additional driving feeling, being the fastest is always fleeting, having the feeling of being the fastest always lasts!Long live the V8 Raw Ferrari!
I just can't understand the price disparity, RHD cars are almost double the price of LHD now. I can't think of any other cars where that is or has been the case? Surely one of them will have to move?
I've just bought a LHD CS by the way, signed by Michael Schumacher so probably worth 200k now![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

Thats the way I would go on one of these now. RHD is never worth the premium for track or limited mileage road use. This has got to be the optimum point now for CS so watch out for the tread saying I could of got £40,000 more for my CS but was too greedyI've just bought a LHD CS by the way, signed by Michael Schumacher so probably worth 200k now

Exactly. Is RHD really worth this premium?I've just bought a LHD CS by the way, signed by Michael Schumacher so probably worth 200k now

It is interesting to see how quickly things have changed simply by looking at Meridien's monthly stocklist - the same/similar Rosso Corsa CS was up for sale at Meridien from August 2011 until April 2012 (9 continuous months) with 12k miles for a start figure of £105k reducing to final asking price of £99k. At the same time (August 2011 until April 2012) they also had a Rosso Scuderia CS with 15k miles for a start figure of £103k reducing to the same final asking price of £99k. Spoilt for choice for 9 continuous months with 2 CS's at the same dealer, under £100k for either and only 18 months ago - those were the days!

Spot on Russell, I remember that too and one at Carrs in Feb 2011 that they had to trade out at £90k because they couldn't sell it.But as quickly as they have gone up they can come back down which is my word of warning to anyone entering the market at this level.
If you are an enthusiast more so than the rich and famous you would be mad to risk paying these types of prices knowing you would be hardly able to drive the car and that the bubble could burst at any moment.
This for me is the biggest shame of the situation as these great cars will just become ornaments that may make an anuual outing. Thats not my idea of a car

Why ? - Don't remember this ever happening on any other Ferrari model ?It did happen on everything when the classic car bubble burst 20+yrs ago (Daytona's worth £1m down to £100k)

Most of the UK cars have flaky history at best now as they are hardly driven from year to year. Much rather buy a car thats been in regular use than 500 miles a couple of times a year and then sat around for long periods. And most of the UK ones will be known by someone or someone who knows someone

I'm not sure that's the case mate, mines done 12k over the last 4 years in all conditions and situations, has an impectable history, has wanted for nothing and is probably a better car now than the day I bought it.. Most if not all of the CS owners I know, and that's a few, have a very similiar approach to their CS tenure...Granted there will be the few garage queens, museum pieces and s

My F355GTS is the same and I don't care what it is worth, I will not be selling it whilst and can still drive and even then I've said you can bury me in it
