Help with 355 throttle peddle

So got her out of hibernation today.Started ok,roof down,lock the house and as I pulled out of driveway she went to full revs and stayed there.Throttle pedal is just flopping around doing nothing.Does anyone know how I access the throttle linkage that disappears in the floor in the drivers footwell from below,above or behind the wheel.I,m wondering if its been chewed by some mice I,ve been getting in the boot as I,ve caught 2 during the [e-mail] a 97 spider.Thanks

Check the pin / bolt that goes through the pedal, sure I had this come out on my 355.

if you cant see the bolt ignore me as it could have been on one of the 911's

Sorted,turns out it was sticking at the engine end.Removed water tank greased up all linkages and she,s sweet again.Phew.

I've a 97 spider, had it 10 years. Bloody love it. In for its major and pre summer fettling at present"

1. engine out service
2. exhaust rattle fixed
3. refurbished alloys
4. new set of P z's
5. engine covers stripped and re-crackled
6. engine and engine bay detailed

all put back together, the its SUMMMMMER!!!!!!

Glad you sorted it. Sticky throttle is a common problem apparently though I've never had it myself. Touch carbon fibre.

Yes it's a common issue. The spindle should be cleaned and greased annually or they stick. There is also a modified throttle quadrant for the earlier cars to get over the issue.
