Hello PHers and welcome to your new look forums!
Discussion
I've been on GTI for ages. Not perfect by any stretch, but it's usuable enough on my phone.
I rarely browse on a laptop or tablet so I can't pass comment on those, so I'll ask this: are the desktop issues serious enough to warrant all this hysteria? I understand that the site needs traffic to generate income, so our opinion should count (although admittedly it rarely does seem to count) but the way some people are going on you'd think that they'd announced that the world is going to end tomorrow!

There's a reason why I never went with the GTI skin.
It's utter st.
Thanks PH.
Yes but they don't care. It's utter st.
Thanks PH.
I thought I was logged out when I was logged in - fking horrible and very obviously doesn't blend in with my other active windows....
Thank you PH for the forced change but more importantly thank-you for allowing me to change it back to what it was before - please don't do it again!!

The ability to switch will be removed according to the first post... Whilst you can switch back now temporarily, eventually we'll all be moved over to it.Chebble said:

I bet the clever clog who designed this has no clue what a paragraph is either. Totally unreadable.

Sorry, I am an old git, who has been on here for 12 years.
Does the 'skin' issue affect me whilst I use PH on my lap[top ?
I haven't noticed any changes whilst using the system so is it only 'restricted' to smartphones (which I'm too blind to see a blummin' huge PH page on) ?
Thanks for any facts/pointers
A very happy (so far) User (y)
You are like me - probably using GTI on your desktop which actually works on my iPhone too. Happy days for old fogies Does the 'skin' issue affect me whilst I use PH on my lap[top ?

Gti was introduced to make it as close to the old mobile version of pistonheads. We users of mobile complained very hard when it was about to be removed, I.e. Classic sucked on a mobile. Google is insisting on more mobile friendly sites so I guess having given PH flack they have to respond and to hell with consequences.
This is probably on a par with "the pie and piston" and all its sub forums being created. Damned for both progressing slowly and too fast. Some of us will not get over it and move elsewhere, others won't even notice.
