On posting a response to a thread, the "Return to Topic" option takes you to the beginning of the thread, regardless of the number of pages.

Would the intention of that option not be to either review your post or see and responses that might have "snuck in" while you were posting? I'm not sure why you would want to go to the beginning of the thread as you would have presumably (although in the case of some posters....) read that already.

Just a thought

Not me, might be a browser issue if it's done via browser history (use Firefox more or less exclusively). I'll keep an eye on it next time I post on a multipage thread.

is the link from "Return to Topic" just now. Presumably p=1 means the first page.

Must admit, I thought I'd fixed that. Viewing new-old is the quick fix, but I'll take another look.

Never even knew that option existed hehe Doesn't "feel" right though - ta for looking, tis no biggy just something that occurred to me.
