you are stopping steering wheel trim from buying your car? FFS get it retrimmed
Yep, I can get it retrimmed easy, I have had various works done professionally to various cars but dont wish to void a warranty.
In any case at this price I want the car to be as I want, there will be some things I cant do without and some I will compromise but the steering wheel makes little sense to get retrimmed. Chill dude.
How would retrimming a steering wheel void a warranty? I’m pretty sure Lambo would retro fit a steering wheel, at your price point a bag of sand or so to have your perfect car is chicken feed
you are actually sitting waiting for a reply or subbed this thread to reply asap!!!!!
I agree if the car was perfect I could ask but it is not and I am not interested in that car for a few reasons.
Whatever i say i will be in the wrong!!!!
if it is so good, you buy the car!!!!!
I would rather buy a car and not change a thing, until the warranty is over.

It seems you cannot read at all then, I have never stated that I am buying a car this year. If you can read then you should know.
Why are you posting??
There has been more attitude than advice!

Clearly you have an attitude from this question alone!

let me know by simply posting here that you understand now that you were wrong and that I never stated nor did I appear to be close to buying a car.
Just so myself and everyone else knows and you can increase your post count to increase your self worth to yourself.

TigerTiger12,

I’ve come across this thread as I too am intrigued by the Aventador.

You have many many questions, but I want to say that Imho your posting style can be rather dismissive and at times aggressive, and as such not very conducive to requesting advice on a forum (I am saying this as someone who also has a low post count).

So, my advice (from experience) would be to book an appointment and go talk to a couple of different dealers/groups. Go speak to their service teams. You may be surprised, I’d expect they could answer 99% of all your questions. My experience is mostly with Ferrari, but their dealers have spent hours talking me through warranty options, modification implementations, service requirements, cost etc on cars I don’t/didn’t own at the time. In fact these conversations are what can start built the relationship with the dealers and, when It comes to buying, will likely have you taken very seriously when requesting a test drive or putting that first low offer in.

Speaking of which, if I were in the position to drop 200k on an Aventador and looking for the best time to buy, then right now (at year end) is when I’d be making those low offers. Personally, I don’t think it will be a better time to buy until winter 2024.

I don't see how I have come across dismissive or aggressive until after this has been shown to me. if you do please show me. In fact I often use polite words as it is natural to me to be nice. Not one person has been able to show me that I have said something wrong or rude.

I can book appointments and will start to do so in a couple of months, I came here to ask some questions first as this is the point of the forum. I don't have an issue being taken seriously when I'm at a dealer, just here! However the independant dealers don't allow test drives just like that. Not an issue for me either, but would rather not waste their or my time until I find a car I want to buy. I also dont see the point test driving a car I wont buy. I have most of the answers I need and the rest I can get from dealers.

In any case pushing me to buy a car now?? like why! what difference does it make to people I dont know. So, if I told you something and you did not listen and learnt yourself later, i wouldn't get annoyed by it.
moaning about me not wanting alcantara on the steering wheel and wheels makes no sense when anyone would look at their own preferences.
The same has happened before to people.
Then the gang jumping on me about lying about buying a car!!! it's ridiculous. Really sad. It's pathetic. I am only responding in the same manner than has been done to me.
Also, trying to get people to just answer a question straight is a joke. One spoke about retrimming a steering wheel, then later said retrofit, 2 completely different things. Numerous messages about me not really wanting to buy even when I stated in my first post when I was going to buy a car.
If now is the best time why would dealers drop their prices? then raise them for summer when more people buy?
Why don't people buy cars in winter?
I even said I have to change my garage doors - so, it will not happen till that is done which should be around feb.
In any case it was me that was messaged rudely a few times. I've done well in life and i'm very happy but these people dont seem happy at all, as if something is wrong with them, they seem very angry. I've only responded in the same manner and have laughed so much from a post about buying a car!!!
You have to admit it is funny as....
Furthermore, everyone going on about me not being serious about buying a car is wrong. Why care?? Why not... just not post?? The point is they just wish to ruin this thread for others to not respond. That's it. Because they are not happy!! I won't do as they say!! I wont buy a car now or the car they tell me is the right one for me!!! Sorry, but this is just too funny. I cannot believe I am having to explain this.

Please, show me what I have said that was wrong. I will then show you repeated messages that were rude and not needed at all. I even ignored a couple of posts myself but it went on. Lets be serious though there are many here that lie about the cars they have. How does someone have a post count around 5000 or 10000? That's a lot of time to spend on a forum that does not pay.
I wonder how some of them get through life like this. I'm not even being funny, It makes me feel great, simply as I do not behave in this manner to people.
I will be printing this thread, showing people and saving it for memories. Seems the truth hurts more than anything else.
Did you read Batman's thread? Same happened to me when I enquired about a Mclaren, but went off it when I went to see one and saw numerous panel gaps. Decided it was just not for me. The huracan guys were good, things have moved on. Most of the people replying here do not own an aventador in any case. Some only see things from their own financial perspective. One talking about changing the clutch on his aventador and trying to get it done cheap. Why would you do this to an aventador? it's because you can't afford the car. If he had enough money he would simply get it done by a reputable place which means a lot for resale. The cost is what it is. There are some things in life you can get done cheap, some things you shouldn't. I wouldn't need to make a thread about trying to get the costs down.

Yep, i'm a straight talker, interesting that i've done well as many people are extremely trustful of me, I could give you so many examples. As far as I am concerned I was messaged rude first, it then went on. I left it and asked the guy questions he did not want to answer and what he said was just wrong in the first place. Surprised you dont see this. i'm just holding my own and did so in the same manner after some time.

Then there is the repetition of the same thing by different people, talking complete rubbish.
Asking if I have bought a car, about me being close to buying a car!!!
about an alcantara steering wheel
about the wheels!!!!! as if people dont want specific wheels.

All I have done is reacted the same back.

So just to be sure if you have responded but not bothered to read my first post.

I am not buying a car till maybe april, I dont really know!!!
Yes I will get one with the wheels I like and the steering wheel wont be alcantara.

Hope that is ok with you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, around april, not sure exactly, but not this month at all.
Really, honestly. Not now and not likely January either, hope this is suitable and you all approve!!
or give me the money and i'll buy the car you tell me, immediately.

I cannot stop laughing. I really cant.

Don't get you about my english? Don't care either.
But you are very snide, stop posting. Your life is a joke, sitting on a forum only trying to cause trouble which was always your intention.
This is what you do!!
So now I've mentioned laughing at your posts you throw this back, Sad.
Not trying to poke, being honest. Much more than you. You do this to others also.

I can do the same, follow your posts and make snide comments, it's easy, too easy. It eats your life and you dont even see it.
It is obviously getting to you as you have to have a pop back to try to be annoying when for me it's interesting.
You wouldn't understand how or why.

Absolutely no way is this person buying an Aventador. My guess is that he/she is not old enough to have a driving license….

TigerTiger, I think if you tried a bit harder you could probably use a few more exclamation marks in your posts.
