Was that James?
No, not James..I don't like mentioning names on public forums, he lives in the south of England. The reg is now on his present car..I drove that SV when he owned it, and it is fitted with a long ratio transmission option, made it a bit more suited to long open road driving.
Ah right, they guy I was taking about lived over here, he had an orange SV but never knew if it was pop up light model or the glass headlight one.

How are you keeping anyway, not seen you since our epic Cars & Coffee four years ago. I have been looking at your Diablo thread with interest on the other forums, have you got to the bottom of the problem yet.?

Keeping well Steve, all good really, can't complain. How's things with you?
I diagnosed the running issue on my Diablo to the point of mental breakdown lol. I just simply couldn't figure it out and in the end, sent it over to Mike Pullen a few weeks ago. Im glad I did, because Mike has been working on it, and had his electrical guru was working on it, and they too are ready to sign themselves in for therapy lol. From speaking to Mike and Peter, they have basically covered everything I had already checked/double checked and triple checked, but still can't get it figured out on that bank.Mike did say a coil was on its way out, so changed both of them, but it's still running off on 7-12 bank. It's almost like the timing is out, but it's not as it's been checked. Anyway he hasn't had a chance to investigate further this week [very busy man] but hopefully going to be working on it again next week, so maybe he can find something.

All good enough here too thanks
Mike as you already know, is a Diablo wizard, he will get to the bottom of it. Frustrating though isn't it! I am having a problem at the moment with my Vanquish, although as of a few days ago, it seems like I have solved the problem. It has been ongoing for several months now though, patience is a necessity with cars like these.
It is a cracking looking Diablo, the SV add ons really look great.

Yeah Miike is certainly a legend when it comes to these cars, and such a nice guy too. I'm hopefully going to fly over in the next week or two, to see a Black Miura with Jota Kit he has, plus trying to organise a viewing of an EB110.
Your right though, patience is needed on the these cars. I've been very patient, and it pained me even to send it over as I know how to work on most thing.. But this one had me baffled; in a way I'm glad they are baffled too, as it means I haven't lost it lol
I didn't realise you bought the Aston! I recall you mentioning it. Lovely motor, friend of mine up here has one, uses it as his daily driver. Did you buy a Murcielago too?

Ye..I bought the Vanquish last year, beautiful car, bit fussy to maintain but all coming good now. I have bought a Murci, my first Lambo :-)
Congrats on the purchase. I had a early Murcielago many years back, 03 in silver. I never really took to the car, prefer the outrageous look of the old school stuff. Although some of the later Murcielagos are just superb and as far as build quality goes, that's a major improvement over the old Diablos like mine. I'm sure you won't be disappointed, nothing like Lambo ownership.
Maybe we should organise a Lambo meet over here soon? Don't think it's ever been done and between us both I'm sure we could get a few together. A guy I know off up here just bought a lime green Aventador Roadster. Then another friend has a Diablo and a Murcielago, Jen has her 6.0, Alan Hanley has a 99 VT I think, there is a 00 reg Blue 6.0 car down south somewhere, then your car, I believe there is a yellow or orange Murcielago in the South too and even more Gallardo owners, plus the Orange Miura.

I also love the older stuff ..had two Ferrari Boxers a while back, and it is still my favourite Ferrari. I gave up trying to find a Diablo, I wanted a 6.0 but they are not exactly numerous. I am more than happy with the LP 640, glad I made the buy, truly epic car with that old school feel about it too.Maybe we should organise a Lambo meet over here soon? The idea of a meet is good, we should stay in touch on that. Jen's 6.0 is currently in hibernation, and I know the owner of the yellow Murci down here. I don't think Alan Hanley's VT gets much use, but he still has it and I also know the owners of two Gallardo's.

We are the retailer for COBO lights which are used on the Diablo and McLaren F1, and other vehicles.
So I replaced all my rears with New units, then decided to try white lenses
