I assume these cars are on top of the 500 that are already sold and will be sold to customers at some point?

Tim - what colour are you getting?

I personally love the Chicane (greyish/silver sort of colour...)
The XP cars legally all have to get crushed after production is complete. Perhaps one or two will be retained by McLaren but without total rebuilds they can't be re-sold and it's very rare that a manufacturer would try to do so. This is exactly the same as any Ford, Mercedes, or other manufacturer goes through when developing a new vehicle - I suppose we are just more exposed to it on PH because the testing happens here in the UK.

I'm keeping my colour hush hush for a little longer, it's done at MSO though. Chicane is an awesome colour and will surely be exceptionally popular as it was also the original communication colour.

That is one of the press cars isn't it? I think I saw the number plate in one of the many articles out there
Spot on. This car is on the cover of today's Autocar.

This is how I've provisionally specced mine - albeit with the 10 spoke wheels

TT9, I like you style and I would have gone a similar route if I was lucky enough to be on the list. The only thing I would have added would be either a single or double racing strip across the body in either another shade of Gray like a Porsche Sports Classic or a total contrast in orange

Will keep a lookout for it coming down the line biggrin

I'd be counting down the minutes until collection - they are such cracking cars, I'm sure you'll enjoy!

The world's first customer 675LT has been delivered to McLaren Glasgow and it looks superb! It is chassis number 001.

Chassis #002, a white car has been seen driving around London a bit too:

Equiped with a plate that went for £15,200 (£19,800 inc taxes) at auction earlier this year.

That front plate is screaming out to be cropped/shrunk to align with the bodywork.

It's the track camera that's getting in the way. Also quite expensive for that plate considering it's extremely limited appeal or use in indicating the type of car.

How about Shmee Purple? biggrin I loved that colour. As long as it's not black. Could be Napier Green? Not sure if that's an MSO colour or not?

Napier green isn't no, but there is an MSO purple (forgot the name) which is stunning!

Hmmm looks nice, but looks metallic at the front but matte at the back?

Any purple similar to the r8 wrap would be cool, add in a roof scoop and it'll look perfect :P

There's a Mauvine Blue 570 doing the rounds at the moment - it certainly does look awesome. If only I had the balls smile
