I always believe that car guys should not attack each other but support each other no matter if they agree or disagree on an issue or topic.
Eh??? What planet you living on??
Let me rephrase that to we should talk to each other as if having the communication in person and not to insult each other. Meaning certain things that characters such as yourself would not say face to face.

To answer your question unfortunately you reside on the same planet as I do.
I'm sorry but I'm going to 'politely' point out the error in your utopian view. Indeed the world not just PH would be a better place if everyone followed your lead, however...
This... "support each other no matter if they agree or disagree on an issue or topic"
PH is all about healthy debate, some supportive some not. That am afraid is the rich tapestry of life and actively taking part in forum debate.

I was hoping this thread was done so we can get back to the cars...

I've had a 12C Spider from new, bought 30 months ago. Its a sensational car that has never missed a beat and has outperformed all the other German and Italians in the garage that have been and gone.

I passed on a 650S Spider as it didn't move the game on much (e.g. no weight loss) but the 675LT Spider should be a much bigger leap and I'm looking forward to delivery next summer. I was offered but passed on a 675LT Coupe slot as is was obvious a Spider was coming whatever they said. I'm buying mine as a road car and expect it will be a much more involving experience with the roof down.
Useful contribution, worthy of note on many levels...thanks..thumbup

Was over at McLaren Ascot and this was in the showroom - gorgeous! The roof scoop is just fantastic + orange seats. Overall spec was very high, I think full carbon.

Apologies for previous pics (which were upside down) smile

Is that an LT or a 650S Le Mans? Unless its an LT with MSO Le Mans options

Went for a spin today for about an hour or so. I took it out yesterday as well and for some reason I was slightly underwhelmed by its pace when I really went for it, so today I wanted to try and understand what was going on, it just seemed slower than the 991 Turbo S which of course it shouldnt be. I was not sure it was just the impression the car was giving me or something else.
I had glimpses of real acceleration but never really got me going, then on the way back I spotted the little yellow flashing light, I had not spotted it at all before, not even once. My wrist and hand position on the wheel meant it was completely out of my eye line, changed my hand position on the wheel and drove on noticing that at EVERY hard push on the loud peddle the light flashed, even way into 3 figures it would still flash like crazy and never once get full power deployment without flashing.
The road was semi dry or fully dry in most places, tyres got warmish, but I don't think the UK roads will allow any meaningful fun at the moment.
It could be that only a smooth warm track will enable warp speed without interference.

I will wait for a completely bone dry day and then go and search for a smoother bunch of roads to try again. Frustrating as hell.

I was out too in the 650S - similar issues but obviously not to quite the same extent

Love the roof scoop really sets the car off! Is that an option box to tick?

That kind-of answers the question, wouldn't you say?

I hate to say it but...apt username TrackTwit...They're track biased dry weather tyres(!).... How much money did you spend on this car and then not research what rubber it should be on??

I would say 80% of the road surface was dry, and the outside temp was c16 Celsius. Having just been out for 2 hours in the Turbo S which is shod in Cup 2s without so much of a blink from any yellow, I perhaps naively expected similar grip levels from the Trofeo's.

It was my first weekend in the car so only just starting to learn it. I will get out to a track in the next couple of weeks for some fun.

Personally I thought the yellow light blinks too early in the 675 - though with much of that blinking I didn't notice any actual intervention - I'm sure if you dig deeper into it, then it surely would.
